Lovely watch but the Socrates ruined it!

It's a quartz watch that tracks time relatively accurately. There is no second hand though. I usually don't get fashion watches as they tend to either be garish or gaudy, but this is tactfully designed with a simple and elegant look and feel. Even the fashion name is conservatively and modestly placed on the dial. The gold plating is well done with contrasting polished and brushed finishes. The adjustments are with pin and collars with three full links on either side of the butterfly clasp. There are no micro-adjustments on the clasp. This is a larger 36mm case, so it doesn't work well on my wife's petite sized wrist. But it works fine for my daughters. It's dressy enough for formal occasions but casual enough for every day wear.It's definitely not an heirloom piece, but it functions well and designed smartly and elegantly. A bit more expensive than I'd normally spend on a basic quartz timepiece, but the gold plating and finishing elevates it.

Stunning watch! I got this as a gift to treat myself and I absolutely love it! It fit my wrist well and is comfortable to wear all day. The gold metal finish is beautiful and a great piece to go with any outfit day or night. The clasp is strong and holds together without issue. It's a solid and well made watch in every way. I'm so happy to add this to my collection and would definitely recommend it.

This is a unique and beautiful watch. The color is gold, but it is mat finish or brushed metal, I believe. It has an excellent finish and the attention to detail is immaculate. Was it assembled by hand? I don't know, but what I know is it looks gorgeous. My girl is very happy with her gift, which makes me happy.
