This is my favorite USB-A Hub! It has a very important advantage that is often overlooked. The power that is supplied through the USB-C port at the end of the device is NOT shared with the host laptop or tablet. Why is this so important? If your legacy USB-A devices are power hungry you absolutely do not want the host laptop or tablet sucking the power that is supplied to the hub away from the attached USB-A devices. While some hubs boast the ability to charge the host in addition to the devices attached to the hub, when this is done you have no assurances that the attached USB-A devices are getting their required current or power. Laptops and tablets can be very power hungry.This hub checks all the boxes for me. Attachment to the host and to the power source is through modern USB-C ports. The hub itself is fully compatible with the USB 3.0 specs. I've tested it with some very power-hungry USB-A devices (an external hard drive, a tape backup drive, an external CD-ROM drive) and the devices performed flawlessly while being heavily exercised. I also used a high-speed memory stick and tested high speed concurrent writes to the USB-A memory stick and saw full performance. The devices were exercised concurrently with no cross-device interference.The hub also worked well with my Samsung S23 Ultra smartphone!This hub has a very good quality cable and connector to the host and is well made. Its hard plastic case makes it light weight and easy to carry with me at all times. Truely a 5-star device!

I tried couple times but my usb is not detecting by laptop.

The media could not be loaded.  I love tec so when new things come out I buy them to try out and anything wireless I love.BUT I have to connect it to the computer itself and I can't always do that because I have used all my import/export.This was as easy and just plugging it in.Great for wireless mouse/keyboard etc.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I have a very small desk in my home office and this is the perfect size. It is compact and small so it does not take up a ton of space plus it allows me to have multiple items plugged in.

The seller originally contacted me for a review but I told him about the issues I had and he never replied after thatThe C type port dosent work on the hub wouldn’t recommend buying it

I didn't think this was actually going to work being a C-port hub but it did. I had an external drive, a mouse, keyboard and a USB drive and everything worked like it should. I'll definitely recommend this product

I used this hub to transfer between several phone devices and my laptop to transfer files and transfer fir storage. Its extremely fast with no issues. I'm very happy with the performance and quality

Easy, straightforward and inexpensive. Does the job! Great for adding USB option.
