Bought these for kung fu practice
I do wing chun, not hung gar where you typically see the wrist rings being used. I wanted something that would apply a little weight while also not being too bulky like the wrist weights I use sometimes that get in the way of things like che sau. This are pretty ok for my purposes. I have 2 for each wrist and all of them together are a bit under 3lbs. This is the 4” diameter ones. They are certainly not as big or as heavy as actual kung fu rings but they also don’t cost $40 a ring so you ham get a lot of them. In my experience 3lbs per hand is plenty for a good wing chun weighted practice session from time to time that will leave you feeling it.

Strong
These rings are being used on slide poles on my pilings. I replaced galvanized ones that were getting thin from rust. They seem to be well made and are heavy duty, 304 SS is not as resistant to rust than 316 but I think they'll do the job. They are smaller than some advertised rings, as the 4" is the OD not the ID, but they fit over the bracket on my slide poles without issue.
