Nice tripod
This tripod is sturdy and has some nice features like a rubber bumper to dampen the sections when they are released. Feet are wide and sturdy. It's not a high end tripod, but it's a good value for the price IMO.

Excellent tripod for Strobes
This tripod works great with my Honey Badger Strobes and served me well for a recent photoshoot. Great stability without seeming to strain under the weight of the lights and batteries. Easy to set up and taken down and a great price!

A Lighter Version, but Excellent.
This is a lighter weight version of a lightstand I already own. It's sturdy and reliable.

A Little Less Heavy Duty Then I Expected
These are a bit less heavy duty than I expected in that, the legs are pretty thin. However, outside of that, it's pretty good, especially for the price. It does a decent job of holding up my Neewer Q3 with a 36" softbox attached. Just remember to use some kind of weight on it as well.

Cheap junk
I purchased four of these to use for lighting stands, and I have to say that they are absolute trash. Two were broken right out of the box, and the other two felt like they would probably break if you so much as looked at them wrong. Cheap, thin plastic and paper-thin pot metal; you definitely get what you pay for. Spend the extra couple dollars and buy something better.

Awesome
Great stand for a good deal. Ships fast. I was impressed by how easily I could switch around the settings and make it higher or lower.

Excellent purchase
Light stand is all I hoped it would be. Will be the go-to if I decide to purchase another one!

It cracked after the 3rd use
Not heavy duty.I'm a professional makeup artist, so far I've only used this about 3 times and it's already cracked at the middle base. This part stabilizes the entire base structure. Right now it's holding a small Neewer LED panel light, which is quite light. It's still functional, but I question for how long, and if it would actually be able to withhold the weight of a heavier light. Not sure it's worth the money.

Burly but a bit sticky
I'm not sure if it is just the particular unit I received but of all the Neewer light stands I have this is the only one that felt so sticky to operate. I suspect there was damage to the outermost section since there is a depression at one spot, but it still works... probably with a slight loss in maximum reach/height.Admittedly because the sections don't slide in and out very smoothly in my unit does make setting it up more difficult but it does make it even more unlikely to slide or slip down during use. This would be the thickest one I have used thus far (and I have a few just a little smaller) and it certainly can hold some good weight. The legs open up quite wide so you can get a lot more stability out of it as well. I find it can hold offset weight nicely even when it is unsupported, but you'd still want to avoid that to avoid accidents; proper balancing or weighing over one of the legs is still best practices. The plastic parts are tough though the riveted joints don't look nor feel that much burlier than a slightly smaller Neewer light stand so I would still recommend careful treatment during use. But otherwise, yeah, its a heavier duty one capable of handling heavier equipment and offering better stability. It comes in a long carry bag can easily handle this retracted light stand, even with the springs unloaded. It also comes with a ball head but that one isn't particularly impressive... it doesn't hold its position that well with heavier equipment this light stand is meant for, but works for lighter gear.
