Pettex Bird Sand with Oyster Shell Bird Sand, 10 Kg

Just wondered why my bag of sand is always split open when delivered. Left on my step this morning as it wasn’t supposed to be delivered today and lost a lot of the sand on my doorstep trying to get it in the porch.

Great sand, pretty standard. But the paper bag did rip inside the plastic bag when it got delivered and the sand kinda got out even through the gaps of the plastic parcel bag. I think its great to use paper bags, but maybe better quality ones so it doesn’t rip inside?

Have been using stand paper in my Budgies cage decided to get the sand so glad I did so much better cleaner the budgies go down and pick at it . And they seem to like it and keeps the floor of the cage so much cleaner longer.

After being fed up cutting sand paper and getting grit everywhere. I decided to use bird sand, I previously bought a smaller amount from pet shop as I was pleased with this I went ahead and ordered the larger bag I find this brand superior to sand I had previously purchased and I am also pleased I will be receiving this on regular basis. My budgie seems to like this one better as she tends to spend more time on bottom of her cage playing.

Apparently I have had 10kg of sand delivered through my letterbox today. I'd like to see the photograph of that. I'm now a few quid down and needing sand. I'll edit to update on what the seller does about it.

I like the sand because the quality is really good, very loose, white and clean, like powder, so smoothly and my cockatiel loves it. We change it regularly and doesn't get clumped.Packaging is all paper so be careful not to break it nor leave on a wet place otherwise everywhere will be cover by sand.
