I already use one every day and find it's the best to put my socks on as I cannot bend due to a worn hip joint I use long socks which I find is easier to fold around the top, a word of warning I ordered 2 from someone called rommost on here and it said freepost but because it was 2 I ended up paying 7.99 postage almost twice the price I got them for two friends who have arthritis and find them realy helpful. My brother had hip surgery & cannot bend to put his socks on & had to ask someone to do it for him. Now, not only can he do that for himself but it also has a Shoe horn attachment so it helps him to get his shoes on tooThank you to whoever came up with the design. A simple gadget but so effective.

Bought this for my husband, he found it time consuming.it was quicker to struggle and get it on than mess around with .He felt, it was a total waste of time and money

Has not been used yet as it's a gift, but looks sturdy enough. If you are ordering this as a gift be aware that it does not come with a box or instructions.

Very disappointed with this item.Was delivered in a plastic bag,no box and no instructions! Purchased for elderly relative who can not use it.Three piece contraption ,fiddly and difficult to use.Socks would be stretched too much I think.Not worth returning due to postage cost.Now in dustbin for recycling of the plastic if suitable.Would definately not reorder or recommend to other buyers.

This item is perfect if you have issues putting on socks etc. I tried an alternative item which was useless, but this one definitely does the trick. The only issue I found was that the handle comes in two pieces and the securing clip was inadequate. However I fixed it with super-glue and now putting my socks on is no problem at all.

Bought this as a present. Didn't even come in a box as the picture shows. 4 bits of plastic in a heat sealed polythene bag (holed during shipment) is what arrived. Was cheap enough to give it a try, and the plastic seems thick, shiny and tough enough for the job - but not what I was expecting.

It's the little things you take for granted, like being able to put your socks on and take them off again without having to ask for help. Some of us simply can't reach our toes like we could when we were young and fit. This gadget give that little bit of precious independence and I'm very glad I bought it.

Had a total right knee replacement, lets me be totally independent when putting socks on. This thing is built like a Sherman Tank.

My husband has a stroke and finds it very hard to put socks on. Bought this and he loves it. Gave him some of his independence back! We did find that it does over stretch your socks, will have to buy him more so that they do not fall down around his ankles, but I don't care, he can now do this on his own and it makes him feel better doing it. Nice product. So far no issues, he has been using it for over a week now. Still have not tried it with dress sock, so may have to update this later.

I use it to put on socks in the winter.Needs a little practice. Not for a person who is mentally slow.Its not good for travel as it's bulky.On the whole not as useful as I thought it would be.
