Our 8 year old chose the small room when we moved into our new home. It had hardly any floor space with her old bed so this has been great to give her space to play. We had some cube storage which we've put under and it's created a hiding space for her. The bed wasn't easy to put up, but if you follow instructions it makes it easier. Only problem we had was a standard mattress doesn't quite fit. So we've had to get another. Bed has good storage and she loves the desk to do all her drawings at. She loves her bedroom now so I'm pleased we took the risk and got this. It had no reviews when I ordered so it was a risk! Very sturdy and should last years to come.

Downside very heavy box 1 but it is wood after all , easy to follow assembly instructions , yes agree there is a misprint so Thankyou to the reviewer who pointed this out. Looks great and it is very good quality

Do not buy a standard single mattress as it will be too big despite product suggestion!!!! I bought this product with a view to redecorate step daughters bedroom for her birthday. The dimensions boast a 90-190cm which would usually suggest a standard single mattress. Nope. The internal dimensions are actually 80cm x 180cm requiring a shorty mattress or small single. Annoyingly I planned for the only weekend I had off to do this only to find that the mattress suggested with product won’t fit. I then have to spend the next day searching for shorty mattresses which take longer to deliver if you want a decent one The product once assembled looks great, and appears to be study enough for an adult so should be fine for a teen.Instructions are easy enough to follow despite an error with a c bolt needed instead of an a bolt. The construction is interesting with the desk and shelf section being laughable. The shelf is poorly designed and the way in which it is meant to be fixed is horrible.They provide a screwdriver which to fix the slats down requires 39 screws!!! Make sure you borrow an electric screwdriver.Overall looks great, but you can see where due to keeping the price down the design suffered.

The instructions are slightly wrong. See image. It should be 'C' rather than 'A'. The first part that's hard is moving the box then It was an absolute bawache to build. It does look good once done though. Think it could use more weight at the back but overall good for the price impo. Remember to only start building when you have the two boxes as well*

The bed ordered had faults and pieces missing. It had obviously been sent back and then sent to me. I did get a bit of a refund but it felt like they couldn’t be bothered to sort the problem out
