Merino Protect100% Merino Wool T Shirts for Men Odor Resistance Base Layer Lightweight Hiking Travel T-Shirt Soft Undershirt

I don't know many people who want to or can afford to pay $50-60+ for a T-shirt that is likely going to be an under shirt but such is the price of merino wool. I have several merino wool long sleeve base layer shirts that I love for outdoors activities in winter (costing $80-120) but wanted short sleeve merino wool shirts for warmer weather and specifically for travel as they are light, soft & comfortable and don't hold body odor. But check the prices of several top name brands. So for $34 I took a chance and this is a solid shirt. Merino wool T-shirts are not meant to be 'heavy'. And 100% merino is not that strong and often is blended w polyester for strength. So some care is required. I purchased an XL, which is a bit tight. There is some mild shrinkage if you don't wash in cold water and if you put it in a dryer, low heat for just a few minutes then lay flat to finish. I liked the shirt so much I purchased 2 more in XXL and they are perfect at this price point. Packaging was on point and no tears, holes or design flaws in the shirts. I have washed these a couple of times now and they are wearing great.

I was a little apprehensive in buying Merino T-shirts from unknown Brand. The sizing can be hard to figure out. I wear a size medium in Nike and Ten Thousand. And ordered a Medium. The fit was perfect. These have a more fitted feel to them, not too slim or boxy. These are actually really well made. They are exceptionally comfortable, soft, and no wool itch. I liked them enough that purchased several more. If you want them to last, suggest only hand wash and air dry.

I like to travel with Merino wool t-shirts because they’re comfortable, I can wear them more than once between washings, and when they require laundering, I can do that in a sink and they dry quickly. These t-shirts did all of that, appear to be of good quality, and cost about half what they big name brands I formerly purchased cost. I plan to buy more.

I did read some reviewers saying that it itches and there's a coating. I was hoping the reviewers were hyper sensitive. So either I'm hyper sensitive too or it's just plain itchy t-shirt.As for the coating. There's no need for that. When you hand wash it, the water just bead off and you had to really soak it 100%. It was like it was sprayed with Scott Guard or something. So now, I just hand wash it again with dishwasher soap and drying on the coat hanger overnight hoping the itching will go away. I won't know until tomorrow when I test it again.I ordered size large and fit well. The neck is tighter than normal but not really tight. It really trap the heat in.The cloth is thin. I'm not saying it's good or bad. Just be aware of it and depending on your needs.I hand wash in cold water both time.About the itchy part. I did wear it for one day and I was aware of the itching but not enough to drive me nuts. Well, for the most part. LOLI just wish it was 100% soft and itch free.

I’m a minimalist at heart and wanted a couple of not-unfashionable, durable shirts. These fit the bill. My arms look decently big in them, which I appreciate. The charcoal/dark gray color hides a small gut well too. If the pits start to smell, I scrub some warm water into them in the sink for a sec, let them dry and they’re good to go for a few more days before a real wash.

Comfortable and breathable the one shirt you need.

Firstly the packaging is ridiculous. Thin plastic with holes on it. Nothing like Amazon packaging. If you have used icebreaker that is nowhere near that. It looks good quality but when you wear it that isn’t.
