Perfect for a single cup
I keep buying more of them because my kids want one whenever they visit… great for starting the day with a fine cup of coffee and then easy to switch to decaf when I need to. No pot of coffee sitting there burning or getting cold. Minimal waste and all waste is compostable.

Super simple to brew one cuppa Joe
I only drink one cup (or a half cup) of coffee and this Melitta cone is super simple to use. No power cords or carafe to deal with, just place the cone over your cup and brew. I like dark roast coffee brewed strong enough so a big glug of creamer can be added for au lait style. To do that I measure a heaping 2 tablespoons of coffee into the filter then gently pour HOT water (about 205F) slowly at first to moisten the grounds. Then I add more water in a couple medium pours to fill the mug. The water process decaf dark roast coffee I use tastes robust and smooth. Perfectly brewed.

I didnt even buy a goose neck kettle, just poured over slowly. Im trying not to fill my kitchen with too many things but this was worth it. I use it regularly!
