The best working-from-home device you will ever buy
After being sent home to work remotely during the pandemic, my employer at the time updated our laptops so that users had to login again if 2 minutes of inactivity passed. It was multi-factor so it became a real pain. This device is super simple to use with no setup. It registers as an optical mouse. I select 8 hours and it starts to flash as the 8 hours is coming to an end. You can also choose 2 or 4 hours. The movement itself on the screen is hardly noticeable. It moves 1 pixel to the right, then down then left and then up again. It comes hardwired with a USB-C connection as well as an adapter for standard USB ports. Used it for 2 years now and never let me down.

Excellent
I brought this to stop my work laptop going to sleep and my Microsoft teams setting me away when I'm doing things like watching back a recording, on the phone, reading something on paper or another device etc. Works like a charm. Plugs into the mains or the laptop (you'd need your own adapter plug to use it via the mains). You just place your mouse on the pad and set the timer (3 mins is what I use) and it'll move the mouse pointer all by itself. It will stop the computer turning off and Teams will show you as available or busy or whatever but it won't change you to away. The movement across the screen of the mouse looks a bit unnatural but it's not massively distracting if say it goes across the video you're watching. Excellent little problem solver. It feels expensive but for me, totally worth it.

The built in display goes to sleep!!
Bought this because my laptop goes to sleep after 2 minutes and I can't change it, which is really annoying when you're on the phone or writing something at the desk and the laptop sleeps even though I'm actually sat at my desk. So not for yoga or shopping as the advert suggests! It works a treat, and the display is good - it does a countdown in seconds to the next time it wiggles. BUT after a few minutes the display goes to sleep, so there is no way to tell whether the wiggler is switched on or off. So I feel totally ripped off in that sense - I could have bought one half the price without the display. I'll be keeping it, but just be warned if you're buying it for the display feature.

LITERALLY THE BEST DEVICE EVER!
This device is excellent - it does what it says on the tin! It's a mechanical mouse jiggler, meaning that it's almost undetectable (more on this later). You just plug it in to a USB brick or laptop, push a button and place your mouse on top, ensuring the mouse's optical sensor rests on top of the plastic disc. The device will rotate the disc at set intervals (you can choose from 3 different intervals witha press of a button) to simulate the movement. It pretty much is fool proof and works as expected.I personally plug it into a power brick rather than an USB port on my computer, just to be extra safe, and so the IT department can't detect it attached to my computer. However, a word of caution - whilst it's unlikely to happen, there's a remote possibility that your company might have installed a mouse tracker on your machine - which could pick up the patterns of your cursor. I think it's highly unlikely, but if you're looking for a 100% undetectable device - it doesn't exist, but this one gets close to it. It will trick 99.9% of IT departments.Literally the most useful device ever. Decent quality and I've been using it successfully for the past three months without issues. Great buy.

Truly undetectable
Some software driven mouse jigglers I've used are picked up by scans the IT at work do, flagging as malicious software when it actually isn'tThis is a physical jiggler, it actually moves the mouse, or rather moves the turntable beneath the mouse so the mouse itself thinks it is moving - very cleverWorks, teams is always green 💚5 stars

Works sporadically.
Our IT Dept in their wisdom have set all of our workcations to go locked screen within a ridiculously short space of time of the computer not being used (I have asked them to adjust this as it can only be done by an administrator, but clearly it’s not a priority!) I only have to take a client call and my screen locks and then I’m scrambling to unlock it again, so I thought this little gizmo might be the answer. It’s very flat and not much smaller than the size of a phone in length. It has 2 buttons on the side, one to switch it on/off and then one to cycle through the options for varying interval times, so 10s/30s/3min/1-60s random, but you’ll really have to squint to see which one is which (from top to bottom as detailed above in that order). It comes with a USB lead which you plug into any USB port, and it will work from that power source.Basically, you turn it on, chose the interval needed, and place your mouse on top, and hey-presto it keeps the mouse moving so your computer is tricked into thinking it’s being used and stay awake.I’ve tried it our a few times now and the first few times it worked really well, but I tried it the other day and for some reason it didn’t work. I don’t know if maybe I just didn’t place my mouse on it exactly where it needed to be or not, so maybe it was my mistake, but I will need to experiment a little more to be sure.Overall though it does it’s job pretty well and I’m now able to take calls and make notes etc without having to constantly unlock my screen every two minutes, so it’s a win for me.
