Best headlamp I’ve owned, with a wealth of options and great battery life!

I've had this torch over a year now it's pretty good overall and great options for different types of light settings. It's great to be able to track how much power is left on the battery and really handy having a light on the back to alert people on the roads and things like that. The one drawback of this torch is the angle positioning of the lamp when setting it to an acute angle it can lose its position.

When you pay £80 for headtorch you expect it to last, after 1.5 yr the plastic clip snapped off and the back, the elastic over stretched made it harder to use, and now it's had a intermittent fault and stopped working altogether. Not good enough for the money will not buy biolite stuff again.. out of warranty.so no chance of support.

Like buying an expensive teapot that can’t pour. Owned for 2.5 years. Massively overpriced for the low plastic build quality. One of the minuscule 4 3mm plastic tabs holding the headband broke right after year 2 despite a ridiculous amount of careful handling, rendering it unusable as it falls off my head. Then it just stopped holding charge and as it’s sealed you cannot replace the battery or possibly some other fault. Finally the adjustable light position doesn’t work if you want it to point all the way down as it just bounces back up. Then to put the final nail in the coffin, planned obsolescence appears to be a common feature of this head torch as many reviews including my own note that most issues suspiciously appear right after the warranty ends which is 2 years. If this was 1/3 the price you could live with it but for the same price you can get a Fenix HM70R that is infinitely better. That has a replaceable battery, durable metal construction, a top headband, 5 year warranty and better waterproofing. Avoid buying this Biolite at all costs. Total con.

It's probably the best headlamp that I've ever had. And I have the biolate 750 and still do, and I've had it for over 3 years. And the battery still lasts a long time and still works great. I like that. It remembers your settings and you don't have to go through all of the different light modes, and it fits perfect on your head or with a hat. And the light, the way it shines on the ground.Hits great also.

The power of this headlight is incredible, but you won't need it for small city runs. Get a lower model it will be lighter and it will be cheaper.

Purchased for night running but I’ve used it for multiple applications with ease of use. Very lightweight that after a few minutes I didn’t even notice it anymore. The sturdiness is fantastic. It doesn’t look to bulky on my head either. The forward facing light does move a little bit after placement sometimes if I’m running more aggressively but otherwise it’s bright and has a great number of settings and I find myself using every single one.

This is my second head light I purchase from biolite, my first one still works after 6 years but the headband is stretched out. I needed a new one as I live on a homestead with animals and this is my go to light. I use this a few hours a day and the new 800 pro has been running now for 3 weeks without charge on the red light settings which is perfect for me. Thank you to Biolite and Amazon for this fantastic product.

I have some ultra running races coming up and I wanted something that had an external charged. It’s so comfortable feels like your not wearing anything… especially compared to other light out there! I am very happy with my perches. Biolite was thinking of the tuner in mind what they made this lite…. Thank you Biolite
