I have an Olivetti Lettera 35 (c.1972) and this ribbon fits perfectly. I was happily suprised to see that it was red and black, replacing my old ink that was only plain black. It was such a bargain too - no P+P added on at the checkout!I thought, reading a review from someone with a model like my own, that I might have to re-spin the new ribbon onto my old spools - but luckily I didn't have to go to that much trouble. This was the first ever ribbon I'd put into my typewriter since receiving it in May. I searched online for some guidance and looked at the manual but it was very easy to change.

Was fitted easily and did its job.

Bought for an Olivetti Lettera 32. Reels are thin plastic. Fit seems OK, but in use the nut on the right hand reel keeps loosening, and so the ribbon does not wind on automatically. This does not happen with the original metal reels. Ribbon is not heavily inked, could do with a little more black, but the red is fine.

I bought this for my Olivetti Studio 44 typewriter, as ribbons can be near impossible to find outside of the internet. It's easy to fit and works well. Very good value for money for something that can be so difficult to find.

The ribbon is fine, however despite my typewriter; Olivetti Lettera 35, being on the list of ones the spool would fit, unfortunately it did not.The hole in the spools was not large enough to fit the axles on the typewriter and allow the securing nuts to be fitted. So bit of a nuisance. The solution was to rewind the ribbon onto the old spools and discard the ones it came on. A bit messy and I can remember when I started work that in the typing room, the typists did get messy fingers changing the ribbons. This product gave me the opportinity to experience this first hand.All the same, the ribbon is well inked, neither dripping with ink or dried-up. It came supplied in a sealed plastic pouch.If the spools had fitted my machine without trouble I would have given this 5 stars. Don't let this get you down at Office Clearance UK!

Right product and very fast delivery

I purchased this for a friend, who is very happy with the product. He was especially pleased with price of £1.80. Previosly he had paid £20 for one.

The description said it was suitable for an Olivetti Lettera 32, but it's not. The spools on the 32 are 1.5cms deep, and these are 1.75cms, so you can't attach the spool fixing screws. You can attach them upside down, but then the typewriter cover won't fit. The only solution was to wind the new tape onto the old spools.
