I installed this in my 2004 4runner, it fit into the OEM knockout perfectly, but I needed to modify the wiring harness as it did not match the cigarette lighter plug on my car. After reassembling everything, it powered on no issue, and WOW is that LED too bright! it's a shame really. I'm going to have to open it up and cut out that lamp at this rate, it's almost distracting to drive with. I will say that it does an excellent job and does put my phone into superfast charging mode. So it does exactly what's on the package. I'd definitely recommend, but make sure it is compatible with your cigarette lighter or be ready to pull out the soldering iron!

Installed in the vacant slot to the left of my steering wheel. Functions as I would expect. 2017 Tacoma’s OEM wiring does not allow for plug-and-play. Lopped off the ends and used Dorman t-taps into the power/ground from the cigarette lighter.

Works great for a good price. I’d rather it be designed with fewer led lights, but the market for these seems to think more leds means better quality…

Eveyone i got replaced would not work. X3 I went as far to make leads and connected to the battery no go. Do not buy.

Perfect addition to any Toyota with the same size switch blank. One star removed because the white surrounding light is very bright at night and has no dimming feature.

I bought this for my 2006 4Runner Sport. It doesn't have the same connection port. Instead, I purchased quick splice wire terminals and tapped into the cigarette lighter thing. I think there are Youtube videos I watched/copied. Very straight forward. The light around the port is white at all times and turns red when in use.
