I bought one of these as it was the exact design I was looking for... within a couple of weeks I saw that the plastic that held the phone was cracked in several places. I hadn't dropped it so I have no idea why it should be cracked. The pieces fell off, leaving the phone vulnerable to knocks. I looked for a replacement and could only find this model again offering the features I liked. So I gave it a second chance. Within a week the same fault had developed. It is a good design but build quality is appalling... I wouldn't buy another and wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this. Poor...

I've bought this cover twice now.The first time the quality was very good and the cover lasted me 2 years without much wear and tear.Just bought a replacement cover and the item sent out is of such inferior quality.In several years of online purchases on Amazon I’ve never received such a low quality/finished product.The stitches weren’t even and the card compartment was actually glued together which made it impossible to use.I should have returned the item but it was so bad that I've simply chucked it straight in the bin.Avoid this item at all costs and buy something better/more expensive.My first ever 1 Star review.Well done Amazon/TypeandColor. I'm now off to buy another replacement cover.

Buy cheap - get cheap. I should have known better than buying such a low priced case for a fairly decent phone. This is flimsy, thin and won't offer any protection OR look good.Thing is, my last phone was cased in a £3.99 case for 6 years and that's still absolutely fine, I guess standards have dropped some.Don't buy this to protect any iPhone, do yourself a favour and spend a little more money to protect the thing we all take for granted until it's broken.

EVERY time I pick my phone up, case closed, without thinking about it, the phone is upside down. I guess it's just me, but it is pretty damned annoying... Like to pick the phone up with right hand, flick the latch open, and peel in back in one fluid movement. If you are lefty and use this technique the case is much better... or if you are the two-handed type, then there are also no problems.

Surprised there are so many good reviews here. Phone case arrived promptly and purple colour is nice, but sadly these are the only good things I can say about the product. The case kept making my phone turn on and off due to the button on the top right- no idea why. I cut this out in the end with a pair of nail scissors! The "leather" backing around the back camera is also peeling off and it has only sat for a couple of days in my home. Very disappointed.

It was good at the begging but because I got the white case it started to ware down very quickly, plus it may be just me but it was quite annoying having to hold the other side of the case when you just wanna use one hand to hold your phone

I used this phone case for 8 months before it eventually went in the bin as the plastic that holds the phone was snapping. It's a nice colour and protected my phione from smashing when I dropped it... frequently... so it does it's job.Worth the money I paid for it but not for long term use and shows a lot of wear and tear

fits like a glove , had one of these for my previous iphone 5s model . They are well worth having for protecting your phone.
