It gets hot
Worked for my applications. Heating up nylon fuel lines to bend, shrink wrap, tints and vinyl wraps.

Works extremely well - Excellent tool
While working on a fairly extensive drip irrigation project with 1/4 inch tubing, I already owned a corded 120V heat gun but dragging a long extension cord across my yard became very tedious. This 18V Milwaukee Heat Gun was a life changer dealing with dozens of 1/4 inch tubing connections. It heats up very quickly and within seconds I could soften the tubing enough to make the connections.I used a 5,0AH Milwauker 18V battery and even after making connections for over one hour, the battery indicator had three bars left. The tool is well balanced and not tiring to operate. Just be cautious when setting the tool down and resist the urge to hold it under your arm while working. That metal tip gets HOT.This Milwaukee 18V Heat Gun is a great addition to my growing Milwaukee arsenal and I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Ideal for Mobile Repairs
I love not being tied to a cord when working on-site. This heat gun works great for vinyl wraps and loosening adhesives. Battery life is solid for short tasks. Lightweight, heats quickly, and fits into tight spaces. A reliable tool for any toolbox.

gets the job done
Not as hot as a corded, but gets the job done.

Works good
Works really good. I wish I had more attachments or frankly any attachment like some of the other offbrand products on Amazon but as a general comment, the Milwaukee product has been pretty solid. I’ve not had any issues with it so far.. it takes maybe 30 seconds to a minute to heat up

I love Milwaukee
This product is awesome. I own a printing company and we do vinyl wraps. It gets hot enough to mold, but not bad enough it melts right through.

Great Heat Gun But You MUST Use High Output Batteries
This is a really great battery powered heat gun. I highly HIGHLY recommend to use the high output or Forge batteries with it as they cut the heating time down tremendously. Using a High Output 6.0 battery, the heat gun gets hot enough to shrink wire shrink-wraps in about 4 seconds. Using a non High Output battery, it takes around 17 seconds. That's a huge difference. This heat gun gets every bit as hot as my corded ones but I do not recommend using it without a high output battery. Highly recommended item- works really well.

not hot enough
I love their products but this one just doesn't measure up. it heats up fast, but the lack of a way to adjust temperatures leaves it wanting. What I would expect is a battery-powered unit with a digital readout showing temperature and the ability to set the temperature on 5 degree increments from room temperature to 1000F. It should have a way to either lock it on and a way to set it down safely giving me a standing heat source I can use wire heat shrink over. I love Milwaukee tools, but this one is not worthy of the name.
