Needed this for a three week holiday in America. The gel packs lasted for the entire journey and also when refrozen during the times we were travelling around.

Straps not tight enough to hold medication as firmly as I'd like. A struggle to get the ice packs in the pouches provided. Strap not in convenient place to carry travel bag comfortably. All that being said, the medication arrived safely after a 27 hour flight, so the bag does function way beyond it's remit.

The bag was able to keep my medicines cool for the whole day (8+ hours) when travelling outside in the summer. Very compact design, and it would be able to fit a number of different medicines.

Expensive for something I have to have for travelling abroad!

With a need to carry expensive medication abroad with journey times in excess of 12 hours (but less than 24), I purchased this product but decided to test it for temperature control on a number of occasions before use. Although it claimed being able to maintain 2-8 degrees centigrade for 24 hours, it never managed this for more than 11 hours in my tests which were at room temperature (<20 degrees) and involved no opening of the bag. Had I simply trusted the claim then I would have been injecting myself for a lengthy period with a biologic medication that was not fit for use. Run your own tests would be my advice. Beware.
