I needed something that would actually scrape the plaque. It does!

We mostly wanted this dental tool set for the mirror, so that piece works great and we are very pleased with that, and also with the container for holding all the instruments. The plastic container is especially useful for corralling the pieces with sharp tips and edges. This set comes with 4 pieces and the metal is light but feels sturdy enough. The main issue is that a couple of the sharp instruments have slight burrs on the ends, which means they would be difficult to use without potentially hurting the user unless we sand/grind them to smoothness. The defects are very small but are at the very tips of the pointy ends, where you would want the instrument to be absolutely smooth. So I have reservations about recommending the sharp instruments, but the blunt pieces, which are the ones we were planning to use anyway, are fine.

Great value for the money and comes with a case to store them all

I got these when I noticed my old dental mirror wasn't mirroring very well. As if on cue, I lost a chunk of filling. Bummer. This came in very handy for checking it out and feeling what was what back there. I was able to add some new temporary until I can get in at the Dentist.I ordered them with the expectations of an affordable but usable set, and they fit the bill pretty well. The tools are ok, but not top. The plastic covers are hard to get off the pointy ones! The mirror is small and not really adjustable. The case is very handy and roomy enough to fit the little vial of temporary fill so I can keep them together. This set is good enough for feeling around, gently, in a pinch. I don't really use them to scrape my teeth since it makes me nervous, but those serve well to help push in the fill! Would recommend.

Great set of dental tools for $6.00! They are really well made and work great on my teeth! Love having these tools at home to do maintenance , but of course be gentle and still go see a dentist regularly.

This is a nice quality dental kit. The metal is sturdy and doesn't easily bend. Each tool has a unique use and was easy to use once you get the hang of it. I also love that it has a storage case to keep it clean in between uses.If you are looking for all the necessary tools you'd need to maintain great dental health at home - I would recommend trying this for yourself.5-star rating for the quality of materials used and overall satisfaction with the product.

The kit I received seems kind of low quality. Two of the tools have burrs on the tips, which can be very dangerous when working around teeth and gums. Those burrs are quite sharp too. The ends on the dental tools I've worked with in the past were always smooth and shaped properly so they would not cause any accidental damage. You should be able to drag the side of a dental tool across tissue paper without tearing it otherwise it can cut your gums during use. Unfortunately I will have to grind or sand these down before use and that may not even make them useable. I took some pictures, but the details are difficult to see because the tips of the instruments are so small. Hopefully there is enough detail there that you can see the end is not smooth as it should be. If nothing else you can see which tools to check if you happen to order these.I am not going to recommend these dental tools and I would not order them again.Update: My daughter has an iPhone 13 Pro Max, so I asked her to take a few pictures of these dental tool defects.
