Shade: “Pink” Photos attached - only applied 1 coat It’s that polish that you see on a friend’s nails and you HAVE TO ASK what polish are you wearing?!? (Which is exactly what happened) I’m no pro manicurist - with that being said, I found the polish to be easy to use/apply. I prefer 1 coat because I like the translucency! Personally reminds me of “the perfect nails” from the movie Legally Blonde, if you know you know aha. The more coats you apply the more opaque the shade gets. It has a SLIGHT shimmer and I mean so minimal, not distracting and only appears in certain lighting in a pretty way (I don’t even think a photo/video could capture the shimmer). It does a good job concealing any nail imperfections in my opinion, stays on well with no top coat, and drys fairly fast. It’s not as pink as it looks and gives a great Natural French Tip illusion!! Keep in mind that this is a regular polish, and using a top coat would probably allow it to stay on longer - it’s in no way a gel polish that will last 3-4 weeks with no chips. I apply no top coat and only 1 coat of polish and it lasts me a week. ( I’m one to re-manicure my nails once a week though to maintain shape, length, and polish - so this does not bother me ) I know it’s more on the pricy side for a polish.. but I’m also one to use a bottle of polish until it’s gone. So I personally feel I get my moneys worth! Annnndddddd it goes on sale occasionally :) so keep an eye out!

This product is great for people who like natural nails. It has a brightening and concealing effect, making my nails look natural but better. Even though it’s subtle, I’ve have gotten a lot of compliments on this polish. I use it on my fingers and toes- just one coat and it dries super fast. Even though I’m a runner and cyclist, it stays on until I take it off. I don’t like gel manicures because of the damage and I just don’t have the patience to sit in a nail salon. I dont have the talent to do my nails myself (this polish is very forgiving if you make a mistake). I dont like a bright nail colors bc the first chip happens so fast and obviously chipped nails look worse than bare nails. Because this is so subtle, you won’t notice a chip (but they really don’t chip somehow). I like my natural nails and this enhances them, making it look like I take great care of my nails (but really I just put one coat on in 5 minutes and let it dry while reading a book in the sun). Plus I save a ton of money since skipping the manicures.

Welp. I found my new go-to polish with the PINK illuminating nail concealer. I tried both the milky and the pink, and my fave is the pink. The milky doesn’t look yellow per se, but if I hold them up against the light, there’s definitely more of a yellow tone over time with the milky. My old go-to was the Essie Gel Couture in the twisty bottle in color 40 Fairy Tailor (not actually gel, but “gel like”) which is also an excellent polish, but this one is better. It lasts a little bit longer and looks nicer for longer. And unlike the Essie one, it doesn’t yellow in the sun at the end of its life span, nor does it get thick in the bottle as quickly. I’ll take a video to show you the viscosity and amount after 3 months. This polish is beautiful. Easy to apply with a great brush that I can do 1-2 strokes for the whole nail. Gives you that extra touch that makes you feel polished even when you’re not put together. It dries quickly. I still use my Essie Gel Couture top coat which works wonderfully. I get about 8-10 days out of it when I wipe my nails with rubbing alcohol before painting. The polish nor my routine with the rubbing alcohol does not make my nails less healthy. In fact, keeping them polished protects them and makes them so much less likely to split, which is my main problem (my nails can split down below where I would normally clip and they also split lengthwise along the nail itself almost like I can peel the top layer off). But I really knew I needed to re-purchase this one when I looked at when I had last purchased it which was 3 months prior. I did my nails with ONLY this polish, two coats each time, every 8 days or so. So it was well worth the $20. I could still get a couple manis out of that bottle probably but I just like fresh bottles so much better and since I don’t get them professionally done, I indulge in the fresh bottle.

I have been an OPI Infinite Shine system (base, 2 coats color, top coat) girl for years! It wears up to 14 days if you use the three part system and looks like a gel manicure. But, I have stopped using the OPI product due to (a) you need all three parts for it to wear well, (b) it takes forever to dry, (c) the base and top coat are not compatible with Essie, and (d) dries my nails out making them brittle and prone to stress fractures. Since switching to the Londontown Kur Nail Veil (pink) my nails do not fracture. I have one product and apply only 3 coats. The pink is very “clean girl” or “soap nails” in color, and has a very slight lavender undertone. It’s a beautiful, sheer, nude pink with a cool undertone. If you like Essie’s Mademoiselle color, the pink nail veil is very similar, I update my manicure to every 7 days due to outgrowth at the cuticle, but this polish lasts as long as 16 days if I need it to do so, such as when traveling. It doesn’t peel or chip as long as your nails are completely dry, there is not oil/lotion/soap residue on your nails, you use thin coats and let them dry at least 20 minutes between coats. I put on a good on-demand show or movie, or podcast and do my nails. I also wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning to keep my hands and nails from water. I have nice nails to begin with, but this polish made them even better. I am already a repeat buyer and will keep buying!

If you’re like me and care about ingredients and stuff like that I included the Yuka app rating. Even though I don’t like that the ingredients aren’t the best, I’m still keeping it cause the quality is excellent and it’s exactly what I want. I do dishes and cook and clean daily so I wanted a protective coat on my nails that wasn’t just transparent and I didn’t want to bother with gel or acrylics. This is a great option if you want something low maintenance that still makes your nails look pretty. I used a clear base coat and applied just one coat of the pink nail concealer (pictured). That’s all I needed. It takes about 6 minutes to dry but I wouldn’t put pressure on them for at least 20 mins just to be sure. For example, I put oven gloves on 5 mins after and they all got a slight textured pattern on them. The smell is pretty strong too so I’d suggest opening a window when using this if you’re sensitive. The colour looks great though and it hasn’t chipped or peeled. I think it helps keep my nails strong too. I think this polish has a steep price tag for such a small bottle, but if you’re like me and do your nails at home then I think it’s worth it.

I’ve tried gel nails which never lasted more than a week and then went to dip nails which didn’t last more than 10 days without chipping and I developed cold like symptoms. I loved having the finished look those visits gave me. However, the price, durability and time spent at the salon wasn’t for me anymore. I was frustrated. I discovered an add for this polish and thought I’d give it a try. I LOVE it. It goes on easily and gives my nails that French manicure look without the painting of the tips. It dries quick. It’s helped me break away from the salon and the need to try other nail enhancements. I recommend this product for its ease and appearance. I’m picky and really love it. I know it’s 20 dollars a bottle but going to the salon twice a month is much more expensive.

I like this nail illuminator ONLY in multiple layers and only on my feet. The formula is too streaky and uneven no matter how you apply it - one thin coat, multiple thin coats, a couple thick coats, multiple thick coats - that I can't stand to look at it on my hands. Three stars because I do like how the Original turns a pearlescent white (looks great against tan/dark skin) with multiple coats, dries relatively quickly, and has great lasting power under Seche Vite Gel Effect top coat. If you have ridges on your nails you will absolutely have to smooth and buff your nails or this formula will hang onto each ridge. But, even if you do that you're must apply this perfectly, or else it will be uneven. I wanted to use this as a one coat illuminator on my hands with occasionally a top coat, but for me, this didn't hit the mark. I won't buy again.

This nail concealer is simply amazing and I’ve tried MANY. I love how easy it is to apply and I love all the shades of nail concealers available to purchase. Dries quickly, lasts about a week before I have to do little touch ups. I’ve told so many friends about this great polish..trust me…it’s cheaper to buy this concealer than going to a salon. Your nails will look healthier, have a pretty classy look to them. Pure Elegance! Buy with confidence. Hugs!
