The Chase: Shortlisted for CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger 2023

I started this book and was immediately hooked from the first page upwards. I couldn't put it down as its well written and a roller coster of a read.I highly recommend it as the author has done her homework and was spot on what goes on at Vauxhall building.Now onto her new book, The Traitor.Best wishes Sean ex RE Sapper

Not too clever, just an escapist read done well. Not too many real twist and turns but just an easy fun read.

Both this and The Traitor were great. Hope there’s another!

I raced through the book as it is a very pacy read but the language and style are quite simple in structure and there are no plot turns to keep the reader guessing. I won’t be reading any more in the series I’m afraid.

Interesting little spy thriller this with plenty of action and great characters along with a pacy narrative. This is really good and surprised me with both the plot and solution.This would make great telly. Move over Slow Horses.

That was truly an amazing thriller I couldn't put it down.I loved the characters in this book especially Emma who is something else.It is the first time reading this author and definitely wont be the last.Looking forward to reading more about Ripley and Emma.

I liked enough that when I was in the USA I bought what I thought was another book by her but it was the same book by a different name

Be careful this book came out under the name Alias Emma in July 2022 and has just been renamed The Chase, its the same book, not very good Amazon, no mention at all thats its a reprint of Alias Emma under a new name 🤬 shame on you Amazon

I enjoyed reading The Traitor and Alias Emma by Ava Glass. I went on Amazon to look for more of her books. I found The Chase by Ava Glass and purchased it. When I received it and started reading it I was dumbfounded. The Chase is identical (except for font size) to Alias Emma. In my personal opinion this is nothing but outright fraud and theft. Why on earth would an author or publisher issue the SAME book but with two different titles??? It is nothing but DECEPTION at its worse. Needless to say, I will never read another book written by Ava Glass or published by Penguin Random House UK. DISGUSTING!
