Hose received ahead of schedule and was top quality. Price was unbelievable and was easy to unroll and thanroll back up after using. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

hose started leaking at the threaded connection within 6 months of normal use. unsure why, very annoying. hose is great otherwise.

I ordered and received two of the Apex 5/8 inch NeverKink heavy duty hoses, both 130 feet long. They are, indeed, heavy, thick hoses. On a cool or cold day, that thickness can make for difficulty coiling and uncoiling the hose. If you plan to coil it onto a reel, be sure that the reel is heavy and well-built. I have no worries about this hose blowing under normal use. I am a little disappointed that the exterior coating (the dark green) feels more like plastic than the rubber on true commercial-quality heavy duty hoses, but that may be more aesthetic preference than anything substantive.As for the NeverKink: on both hoses, with the way the end with the female connector was tucked in for packaging, an area about 5 inches into the hose was flattened from the get-go. Is this technically a "kink?" I think so as it restricted water flow. Once connected and pressurized, the flattened area has mostly reshaped itself, but I fear it will continue to be a weak point. Bummer since it is right at the point it connects to the adapter on the hose reel, which is a stress point.All-in-all, a good hose at a good price, but perhaps not as kinkless as hoped.

This hose is terrible. The quality is terrible. It kinked several times when I was trying to get it on the reel.

It DOES kink. I wouldn't buy this again.

Apex 8605-130 NeverKink 5/8-Inch-by-130-Foot Heavy Duty Reel HoseI got these two NO KINK HOSES as my other hoses drove me nuts with the kinks, the only thing i can say about these are, they are long and don't leak at the faucet but they do kink, not as bad as my other ones but for a NO Kink hose ( ha) i would expect no kinks at all.
