Excellent Product; an essential and convenient connector
After getting my MacBook Air M1 I needed to be able to connect my USB external drives (I have two Western Digital 'My Passport' portable drives, a 2TB and a 4TB). This allows me to connect up to three standard USB devices, PLUS, I can plug in the USB-C charging cable which charges the MacBook Air just as advertised, through the hub. I usually plug the 4TB drive directly into the MacBook Air, and the 2TB (which I don't use as often) into the hub. I also use this to download image filers from my memory cards for my digital cameras. I have cameras which utilize both SD cards and CompactFlash cards, so have had the opportunity to test it with a couple of different card readers and it works great. Also included was a handy little pouch which holds the hub, and has a side pocket for the short cable to keep it safer than if it was exposed. Extremely well made, and looks like it was designed and manufactured by Apple, Inc. for the MacBook Air! I'll be getting a new TV soon, and look forward to using the HDMI connector next! So glad to have found this, and will look for CableCreations products for any such accessories in the future.

Itโs ok
Everything works great except for one big thing. I bought this adapter so I could run my audio interface into my iPad Pro. Connects fine, no issues there. However, I cannot use the pd100w usb-c port to charge at the same time so I only get to use the iPad for an hour or so before I have to charge back up. If you donโt need it to charge and transfer data at the same time, it works perfectly.

Good but wonโt connect some items
I needed more plugins. It works but my printer wonโt register if I connect it to this so I have to switch what connects into this.

A Must for our MacBook Pro
My husband just purchased a MacBook Pro for our family. We've had the Mac desktops forever, but wanted something a little more portable. I usually go along with most of what he picks out since he does so much research before buying anything. Let's just say I was shocked and extremely disappointed to discover that it only came with a USB-C port. Maybe I'm old school, but I'm used to plugging in my mice (even the wireless ones) as I hate using the little laptop pads... and what about thumb drives or any other external accessories that require a regular USB!? Well, PROBLEM SOLVED! I stumbled upon this gem and now I can finally use the computer. This was so easy to use. I've had zero issues with it so far. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a few USB ports, especially those with MacBooks.

Works great on my phone
Works on my Samsung S21 FE. Display out, USB ports, charge port. All work fine. A bit pricy at thirty bucks but it does 4k output and can pass up to 92 watts of power to the device its plugged into. I don't think the USB-C does data though, only power. My Xbox controller works fine plugged into the USB port and I can use it to play games. Keyboard and mouse work too. My USB-C headphones don't work on the C port but the A ports work fine with a C to A adapter. This is travelling with me if I ever go anywhere. It even comes with a neat little carrying pouch to keep the hub from getting scratched. Its perfectly sized to fit it too. I like it. Great dock.

Great hub that was a little wonky on first use
I have a third party docking system for my MacBook Pro (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XSCDLDQ) and have been using a powered USB-A adapter to accommodate all of my extra USB devices for the past year. That hub has been a little flaky in its behavior and I've wanted to replace it for a while so when I came across this USB-C adapter I decided to order. The adapter itself feels like a quality product, far more so than the cheap and plasticky USB-A adapter it is replacing. I am plugging it into the USB-C port on my dock and then connecting the MacBook power cord to the adapter. From there I can use the 3 USB-A 3.0 ports. There is also an HDMI port on the adapter, but I have no need for that so can't comment on it. The first time I plugged in the adapter everything was working fine with one critical exception - the power was not getting through to my MacBook. I checked all of the various cables repeatedly and even switched out to a few different power adapters for my Mac all to no avail. When I removed my dock from the equation and connected the adapter directly to the MacBook it started to work fine with the power flowing through the adapter as expected. I then moved the adapter back to the dock and weirdly it started working fine as well and it has been ever since. This wonkiness is the reason for deducting a star from my review. Without that, this is definitely a 5-star product in my eyes. I realize that anyone reading this may see my mentions of the flakiness of my old USB-A adapter plus the wonkiness of this new one and conclude my dock is the common factor and perhaps the root cause of the issues I've seen. I totally understand that is possible. If this new one was going through the USB-A port on my dock like the other one then I would absolutely jump on that conclusion, but since this new one is USB-C it doesn't seem as likely to me. If I see any further weirdness out of this new adapter, though, I think I will change my assessment and will then come back and add back the star I deducted.

Solid 3.0 USB Hub with HDMI
This unit comes with a handy travel bag to put it in and protect it when travelling. This is a nice extra peace included. You get a solid USB C 3.0 splitter with 4 USB A ports and 1 USB C PD port. The HDMI supports 4K@30Hz which is not good for gaming but will work just fine for office apps, web browsing etc. Overall a nice USB C Hub!

This Hub Is Useful For Portable Media Reading
This hub feels solid when removed from its packaging. The cable is a little longer than expected, but could be a few inches longer for better usefulness, but if plugged into a laptop then the cable is about right. Three additional USB 3.0 ports will come in handy, as well as an extra USB-C port. I like that an HDMI port is included, which means more viewing capacity with a computer monitor. This hub performs as expected and delivers on the advertised usage. It feels solid and not cheaply. It seems to be durably produced and should last a while as a hub for connecting with various devices. Satisfied with the usage of this hub.
