The plasma lighter is a super cool new type of lighter. You do not need any fuel for these and you just USB charge them up. The lighter does an excellent job at lighting a cig quickly. All you have to do with this one is open the cap and put your finger in the top indent opening to get it to start. As a safety you have to perform both of these steps or it wont light. The lighter itself is very solid and the colors look very cool. Save yourself the money of fluid lighters and get ya one!

This lighter is made very well and has a wonderful weight and finish to it. That much is absolutely undeniable! But the problem comes in after use. If you forget to shut the top even once and lay it down the chances of something hitting the ignition beam are pretty high. In which case, it ignites immediately! It isn't just a finger that ignites it but anything that breaks the light. So if you are unfortunate enough to lay it down on a bed, the problem could quickly get out of hand! Not that that is what happened to me but merely an observation. When I discovered how easy it was to trigger the ignition... I put it back in the box and returned it. It was meant to be a gift but also arrived scratched so it was somewhat fortunate that I could not present it as a gift. I don't usually make negative reviews but in this situation a smidge of foresight would go a long way. As the gift was for a female, I could see it easily being put into her purse and well... The unfortunate possibilities are endless.

Worked for about a week then stopped. Don’t waste your money.

It exceeded my expectations. It is pretty heavy for the size, feels like good quality. Very happy so far.
