Songbird Essentials Dr JB's 16 oz Clean Feeder All Red Feeder w/ Yellow Flowers

So easy to clean. All parts top rack dishwasher safe. Had read another review that hummingbirds didn’t like it but the ones we have took to it immediately. Originally bought 1, a month later, we bought 3 more.

Seems more sturdy than previous feeders I've owned. Comes apart nicely for dishwasher. Glass portion has big mouth for effective dishwasher cleaning and easy filling. Most dishwasher-ready feeder I've owned.After filling, it's best to reassemble but keep holding everything upside down until you are outside. Sometimes flipping to the hanging orientation allows some fluid to spill out. (The same issue, in reverse, applies to filling, so I've learned to disassemble over the sink.)Update: After 4 months of use one section of the landing rail has broken. Still works just fine. The essential parts of this feeder seem sturdy and durable.Update: 2.5 years and going strong. Has now fed several generations of hummingbirds! I removed the yellow "bee attractors" because they didn't really get clean in the dishwasher. The glass and plastic parts have been through the dishwasher well over 100 times now; the plastic is still shiny and brightly colored. This feeder has vastly exceeded my dishwashing expectations. One note about wear is that the feeder doesn't get sunlight until the very late afternoon.

This is basically the best feeder I've ever used. For one thing, all the parts are dishwasher safe, so you can toss the three parts in the dishwasher and when it's time to give the birds a new feeder just get a freshly clean one from the cupboard and swap the feeders out. (You will get yelled at a lot less this way, versus taking the feeder down and cleaning and refilling it and then putting it back up... CHIP CHIP CHIP CHIP CHIP WHERE IS MY FOOD YOU FEEDER THIEF!) It doesn't leak, I've only ever seen ONE bug manage to get into the feeder, and the hummingbirds love it.But best part of all... the perch that rings each feeder is actually USED by the hummingbirds. They perch there. Sometimes just for funsies. Or, in the case of the feeder under the eaves, to stay out of the rain while still being able to eat whenever they feel like it.As much as I love seeing hummingbirds hover... they are ridiculously cute when perched. That's worth every penny. So adorable.

I bought 4 of these last spring. I like everything about this feeder, wide mouth har, easiy to assemble & disassemble for cleaning. Only one had a flaw, the hanging cap on the top came loose from the jar. I cleaned off the old silicone adhesive & put it back together with Gorilla Glue. Used them all summer and enjoyed watching the hummers use them. Highly recommended.

I love these feeders. They stay clean and are dishwasher safe. The humingbirds love the red color! ❤️

These feeders are very well engineered so they are comfortable for the birds to sit on the perch and eat. They are designed so the sugar water does not come close enough to the opening for yellowjackets to feed. They are super easy to clean as the bottom comes apart so you can get in and get any mold out. They also can be run through the dishwasher. I have been using Dr. JB's feeders for over 20 years. Two of my feeders are that old and still functioning perfectly. HURRAH for Dr. JB who really cares about these beautiful birds!!

Well i did want to write a review till i had had this feeder at least a year, so here i am. I honestly have to say after having perky pet feeders for about 10 years i wish i would have found these 10 years ago. They are by far the best feeder i have ever used, so much easier to clean than a perky pet. The hummingbirds have no problem figuring out how to feed out of these. I have no more worries about wasp, bees or other birds trying to get to the nectar. They also do not leak in high winds, i hated that with the perky pet feeders. In fact i had to buy a eight hole bottom part because i have had more hummers. Then were draining them so fast i had to buy a 32 oz, then a 48 oz, then an 80oz bulb for the top's of my 2 feeders. If you are going to use a hummingbird feeder i would say these are the best you can buy.

This is not worth the nearly $30 I paid for it. Everything is great except I've had put it back together three times now. Duct tape didn't hold the first time. Silicone caulk didn't hold the second time. My poor hummingbirds are feeling tricked because I have it out, then I don't.I'll have to try a different brand as I have no idea how to fix this so it stays together.

Very pleased with this hummingbird feeder. It does not leak like my old ones did, it is easy to clean.

Product is as described and had it's first Anna's hummingbird within minutes of being put up. Very satisfied with the product.

Works well and love that it's dishwasher safe.
