Really powerful
This thing ripped through my garden. Very well made sturdy strimmer. Little heavy but that’s a small price to pay

Quality and value for money
while it does a good job cutting the grass I have a couple of little niggles with it, firstly my old strimmer was the same power and roughly the same size, this one seems to be a bit 'top-heavy' which could be awkward for some people. Secondly the safety switch, ( a good idea) is a bit awkward to work, the power trigger in the handle has to held just right with the safety button held at the same time is also a bit awkward. Perhaps after using it a few times it might get a bit easier. Having said that, it is a decent price, a good length of cable and easy to store away

Flymo Contour 500E Electric Grass Trimmer and Edger
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Powerful and Easy to Use! The Flymo Contour 500E makes trimming and edging the lawn a breeze. The 500W motor is strong enough to handle thick grass, and the 25 cm cutting width covers ground quickly. It’s lightweight and well-balanced, so you can maneuver easily around flower beds and edges. Setup is simple, and switching between trimming and edging is straightforward. Reliable, efficient, and perfect for keeping the garden neat!

Best yet
The best strimmer that I've ever had.

Good build but tiring to use
Seems a sturdy build. Clear instructions in English. Easy to assemble. Efficient and the line feed seems to work as required. It is heavy, and one arm holding the front handle tires after a while. It has an interlock to free the start lever which is under the main handle. This needs to be gripped quite strongly while in use otherwise the motor stops. I found this really quite tiring after 15 minutes or so. I would have been happpier with a lighter strimmer with a more responsive start lever.

Great machine.
As people who know me will tell you, I am a very hard person to please. I also very rarely write positive reviews about things I buy, but this strimmer is genuinely so good that I felt compelled to write one. But firstly, just to get them out the way, there are two slight negatives: 1) The dead man switch is a little too firm to keep pressed down, and it does end up aching your hand every few minutes. People with less strength could struggle. 2) The spool does occasionally need to be manually pulled through. However, these are the only negatives I can find. The strimmer absolutely burned through our incredibly overgrown garden (the grass was almost a meter tall in places with weeds everywhere, tree stumps to navigate, big stones and bricks hiding underneath, and stone/fence edges too) and the machine didn’t use anywhere near as much nylon as I expected it to, and it easily stood up to every test. Whilst the machine is slightly heavy - and you do have to switch arms every 5-10 minutes - the results are certainly worth the pain! Genuinely didn’t expect the experience to be pleasurable, but it really was! Top marks, highly recommended!

Lightweight and easy to handle
This grass trimmer is a good choice for small to medium gardens and works well for general trimming and edging. It’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, which makes it comfortable to use without much strain. The edging wheel is a useful feature and helps keep borders neat without too much effort. Cutting performance is fine for grass and light weeds, and it’s straightforward to switch between trimming and edging modes. The main limitation, mentioned by many users, is that the 300W motor can struggle with thicker or overgrown areas, and the power cable feels a bit short unless you use an extension lead. It’s not designed for heavy-duty work, but for regular maintenance it does the job well and offers decent value overall.

Dual switch is rubbish. Having to hold in safety switch in order to press on/off trigger is silly (I have used strimmers for years and never came across this before) Also the on/off trigger is too sensitive, any slight release of pressure and the unit switches off. If using for any period of time this is a pain, also you will need a very strong grip to keep the trigger pressed. The so called auto feed is so badly designed, having to power off for a little filament to feed is pathetic and usually you will have to cycle power several times to get enough filament, having to wait each time for it to stop spinning. I resorted to manual feed as this is quicker. This is OK for very light use and short periods. If it was not so cheap I would send it back, will just use for edges and very light work. Do not buy this very badly designed and assembly instructions also leave a lot to be desired. I looked at a quick you tube vid and it was way more helpful than the printed instructions. Oh the spool cover cap has nearly disintegrated after a single use of edging along kerbing at the edge of the lawn. Had a Black & Decker for 5 years and never had this issue, cap got a little scuffed but that was all.

Está bien pero el interruptor es de estados unidos y se tiene que comprar un interruptor que se adapte al de España. Pero a la hora de comprar no lo pone
