Not sure but I move 22 inch planters With it

Q: Would you trust the 309 pound version to haul around a $1,200 60 pound battery?

Yes I would. I bought the hand truck primarily to help my daughter move in to her new apartment. It worked like a charm and I've since used for other tasks. It's solid and well built. I'd be mindful of the weight capacity but a 60lb battery would be a piece of cake in my opinion. The nice part is that when not in use it folds up and stores out of the way. It was a good purchase.
