Spore: Galactic Adventures - Expansion Pack (PC and Mac DVD)

Bought this for my eldest son now his brother and I are well into it good fun but the end of the game is tenuous. After you get into space it becomes that ancient and wonderful game from the 80's "Elite" basically. That is not a bad thing but it takes a long time to gather all the badges and the enemies are very strong. Seems to be EA had two very different ideas for games and nailed them together. Still if you like the development section that works as one game and the space trading side as another game.

I love the original spore and i really like the idea of beaming down to the planet and do some adventures. unfortunately there are only 8-9 Maxis made adventures that came with the disk. to play more, you have to download user-made custom adventures. so far my experience with these custom adventures have been nothing but frustrating. they are either unplayable or completing boring. I think Maxis was being lazy for not creating more adventures. It has so much potential but ruined by the user-made content. I am sure there are some good ones out there but searching for those very few good ones among million of crappy ones is not my idea of having fun.Epic fail![edit] whilst user content issues still persist (in fact it got worse as my game now keeps feeding me with RANDOM poorly made adventures whenever I log on), I discovered the delightful adventure creator! It is a nice little tool (relatively easy to use too) that allows me to make my own adventures. I added two stars because of this creator tool!

If you have the original game this is a must. It is cheap, which is a reasonable price compared to its brother expansion.I would highly recommend this product if you are a fan or like of the original game

Despite this product being labelled as 'Apple' compatible it won't run on an apple machine; very disappointed particularly after such a long delivery. Definitely not recommended.

I liked that you can land on planets for a chance making the space stage of spore more satisfying and EA has really achieved what it set out to do in it's target market.

My two boys think it's the best game ever . . . but buy the book to go with it - it's a must have to help them get the best out of this.In case you missed it, you MUST have the original game, as this is an expansion pack. If you haven't got that, get it, then get this and sit back to hours of peace as they play the rainy days away!

Bought this product thinking it was something else. The gameplay isn't that great, and you can't visit the planets you've created. You have to launch it standalone, and it isn't really an add-on for the original spore game.

It's good, but not really my thing. Kinda sways away from the original game, although it does make it a little more interesting and entertaining.

Great game with endless hours of fun and creativity. My Son loves playing Spore.

Hemos estado buscando desde hace tiempo estos juegos y al final lo encontramos aquí. Y encima llegó más pronto de lo que esperábamos. Y bien de precio. O sea, que la compra resulto un éxito.

Bin begeistert von den möglichkeiten, mit meiner Spezies das Weltall erobern zu können.Gut finde ich, dass die Szenarien wie in einem Comic ablaufen.Würde das Spiel jedem weiterempfehlen.
