Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio i7/16/512

I bought this the moment my boyfriend said he needed a new computer. So far he’s in love with it and takes it with him everywhere to continue writing his book. He was initially hesitant considering the price (I didn’t tell him I got it until after I already bought it) but now he doesn’t go anywhere without it, even when we cross states! It’s very beautiful and I would recommend to everyone.Update: It’s been over a year since I bought the computer and there’s been no issues what so ever. My boyfriend still brings it with him everywhere and the performance as well as quality is exceptional. I have no regrets and would even want one for myself at this point.

I was skeptical at first since it is refurbished, but I bought this for nursing school and have no problems. I love it!

A great tablet, and a great laptop, but the heft of the product and how fragile it feels makes it an item I won't move from the desk. I use it with a separate monitor and use it mostly for art. The internals are powerful enough for decent gaming. The design is clean and sleek.But the very thin hinge to switch from laptop to tablet mode scares me. I mostly keep it in tablet mode, as it becomes the most powerful Surface tablet.

I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled I am with Amazon on this one! I have never bought a refurbished item. This laptop looks absolutely brand new. I have been working from home and using a MacBook, which did not have the greatest Wi-Fi capability. It continuously dropped the signal. My modem is on the second floor of my house, and my office is on the third floor.I had purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro and discovered that the Wi-Fi is much better than on my MacBook. No dropped signal during meetings! So I took a chance on this Microsoft studio laptop, saved $500 over the BestB…’s refurbished price, and I could not be happier.This laptop is not the lightest laptop out there. It is very solidly made, and made of excellent materials. Therefore, it is heavy. It is not something I would want to tote around with me all of the time. It is great for video conferencing, which is what I do. The camera is great. The sound is great. I could not be more pleased.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE IF YOUR BATTERY LIFE SUCKS:Reinstall Windows 11 from the cloud. For some reason, this EXPONENTIALLY improved my battery life. I was lucky to get 2 hours before, but I’m now getting well over 7. Thank me laterI am a college student who is currently working in Digital Art AND 3D Animation. So I wanted a laptop that had incredible stylus support along with a GPU capable of rendering out 3D scenes. This laptop ticked all the boxes for me!I wish that the hinge had more angles, like a proper drawing mode, somewhere between the tablet and easel mode. But that’s about the product itself. As for the refurbishment, it’s incredible! I have a slight bend on one side of the hinge, but it doesn’t seem to have an effect on anything, and hasn’t bothered me.Most people would be better off getting a more traditional laptop. But if you get a gaming laptop for better performance, say goodbye to the great stylus support. Get a convertible with a stylus, say goodbye to 3D rendering.This is the perfect combination of the 2 styles of laptops. I didn’t feel the need to get the new 2nd gen version, as it would be $2,000 before you even get a GPU with it.Overall, this has suited my needs perfectly. If you are in a situation like mine, good luck finding something better.

My wife loves her Surface! It's her second. This model actually fulfills a wish list of features she's had for years now. She's delighted with it. She did manage to lose the stylus so well that we couldn't find it with the provided tracker (protect the stylus when you're outside the laptop's home - it doesn't have much range for tracking).That's her only complaint - the stylus was a hundred bucks with tax. She finds it essential with this laptop, because she's an artist an the new pen for this model is, per her, really good. She's able to sketch ideas fluidly and without interruption, noting that these features are vital to a satisfactory drawing experience.When she's happy, I'm happy.
