TPU tubes with metal valve stems are excellent
These TPU tubes cover the same territory as similar products from RideNow, Pirelli, Schwalbe, or Tubolito, but with a distinct plus: a metal valve stem, which makes them more compatible with the popular electric pocket inflators that are taking over the portable tool market (e.g. Fumpa, Cycplus). These tiny wonder pumps are great, but they produce a lot of heat. While it's easy enough to carry an extender hose to protect a plastic valve stem, said hose can get lost. A metal valve stem mitigates this risk. And the lime green color is fab - love it!

Say "boo" and they go flat. DON'T say boo and they go flat
Facts first: they are lightweight and stow compactly in an under saddle bag. They are also puncture resistant. That's where my experience diverges from the marketing hype and the glowing online articles about how TPU is the New Great Thing and butyl rubber is dead.I have bought multiple of these so I feel that consistent experience can be established. I have ridden different routes each time. I already use Gatorskins tires. I use tubeless compatible rims, so there is NOT a spoke strip problem. And in the past, with butyl tubes, I might get one flat in an entire season. Today I got 2 flats on one ride. The ride before that was cut short by a flat. And the ride before that was cut short by a flat. The common factor: cyclami TPU tubes. Even when they are not flat, they leak as much as 30 psi overnight. I usually top off to 110 psi in 700c tires around 11 pm before a ride. By morning these tubes are typically down to 80 psi. That is, when they aren't spontaneously blowing or emptying themselves of air. When I have test filled them underwater, the leak is ALWAYS at the base of the valve stem. I checked into this online and it was recommended to cut a hole in a piece of felt and insert the valve stem through it so that there is a cushion for where the stem goes through the rim. Maybe that helps, I don't know.Another thing to notice is that when you press the release on the valve stem to vacate a little air so the tubes can be pumped, it almost always bends the interior of the stem. Again, it's not that I don't know what I'm doing... NO PROBLEM with butyl tubes, even the cheap ones. And I have ridden tens of thousands of miles on butyl tubes. One final point: these are super thin tubes, so when your tube goes, you don't have an elastic layer of shot butyl tube for your rims to ride on until you can find a driveway to pull safely into. You feel Every. Bump. in. The. Road. And it is VERY difficult to steer, moreso than with flat butyl tubes.I feel duped. I believed the positive press on these tubes but the articles were clearly puff pieces from some weight weenie geeking out over grams.:-(I'll probably use the remaining 4 tubes as pressure ties for some woodworking project. That's all they are good for at this point.

No removable core.
TPU tubes are great, lasts a long time, they are vey light and quick! Unfortunately the lack of a removable core is the deal breaker for me. Cannot use on my deep rims.

Can't Complain
Stem leak, reached out to Cyclami and they sent two replacements. Face it, this material looses air, while bike is not in use. Take it 80 psi on 30 to 50 mile ride and no loss of air. Flats have been legitimate. No more or less than regular tube. I started out with the overpriced more expensive brand and I prefer these. Never have patched one, so no comment.

Failed after about 6 months
Update: 5.24.2024 - I had been using a butyl tube on the rear (since the problem discussed in the previous review), but recently ran over a nail. So I did a roadside installation of the TPU tube that has been my spare in the seat bag, since last September. The spare has been holding fine for a few days, so I ordered another "2-pack" ("2-Pack CYCLAMI 700C x 18-32C"). It arrived today, but it only contains one tube. Ripoff.------ previous review ------I installed these (F/R) in September 2023 in Shimano aluminum rims with Rubino Pro road tires. They have been great up until a ride yesterday, when I noticed that the rear tire was losing a lot of air. However, the tire wasn't completely flat. When I pulled the tire off, there were no visible punctures on either the inside of the tire or in the tube itself, but when I reinflated the tube (outside of the rim), it lost pressure within about 2 minutes.Later at home, I immersed the tube in the sink and discovered that it was leaking from two different locations, and in each location there were multiple leaks. But again, nothing visible to the naked eye.So I'm wondering if the plastic material itself is simply too thin and degrades within a few months to the point that it can no longer hold pressure.

Light and sprightly
These tubes are light and sprightly, the bike flies uphill! I cannot speak about their longevity yet but the first impression has been very good. They also pack very small compared to butyl so you can easily carry a couple of spares, even in the tiniest saddle bag.

They make a good spare. But too light for training or everyday use.
I've used half a dozen of both Cyclami and RideNow tubes. (They are identical). They are light, low friction and compliant. But that comes at a cost. They are very thin and prone to fail at the stem. Tubolitos are slightly heavier but more reliable and safer. True, Tubolitos cost double the price, but when you are changing a flat on the side of the road -- or lying in a hospital bed -- you won't be patting yourself on the back for the money you saved. (These do make good spares, however.)

Absolute trash
Seriously get some super light butyl tubes instead. The good news is you are still walking distance from your pad before these literally just pop. Identical spot different tubes. Also another thing that pisses me off is main description says 2 pack and you order it. Get 1. Yes when you actually look it says 1 but no offence who the f*** looks that close.SERIOUSLY … been riding for donkeys and these are absolutely the worst cycling product I’ve ever bought.

Strong light weight
For a spare tube it takes up little room

Valve core is not replaceable - cannot fit stem extension. Tube didn't last 1 ride.
Wanted to fit these tubes to my bike with deep rims - valve core isn't removable, so I couldn't fit an extension.I fit a tube to my shallow rim and it punctured on the first ride.
