I work outdoors, however I am required to wear a company short sleeved t-shirt. In the winter this makes things very chilly indeed! However they allow you to wear a plain black item below thisTherefore I was looking to invest in a cheap item that wouldn't be seen anyway, so I purchased this item.When I was growing up I stayed near a Fruit of the Loom factory retailer so I was well aware of the brand. They did items from the very cheap and basic quality up to the very expensive and outstanding quality. However like most fashion brands (remember Kappa, Burberry etc?), they fell by the wayside and now only really do cheap basic clothing. However this is not a criticism - stick to what you are good at and you will flourish.This item is of cheap thin material and won't win any awards for quality or design, however I am happy with this as that is what I paid for. If I had wanted a good thick, quality t-shirt I would have expected to pay £12-£15.Tip: if you find yourself towards the top of a size, (I'm usually a Large, this is a X-Large) you are best buying the next size up.In summary if you want a thick expensive item this is not for you, otherwise it's a good buy - I'm definitely going to buy another.***Update 14/03/2014. I made the mistake of tumble drying this item (I should have read the label) and it shrunk it a size. Oh well - only myself to blame!

Brilliant bought for winter time to wear as a base layer rather then paying loads of money for a sophisticated technical top that requires special washing, this natural materials easy to wear and wash have bought loads of these since in white the only issue is that the forearms can be a little tight when brand new but after a few washes and wears fine ,

I received a Xmas present of a similar item from Marks & Spencers, but the neck opening was massive! So it’s getting returned.I’m about 46” chest with 17” shirt collar size. They fit great and the material is very nice with a slightly stretchy feel. I got 2 so I’m very pleased with them.

I'm hovering between 2-3 stars, taking into account the price.For some reason these are cut small and shrink further when wash/dried. If you are on the small side ok or probably best to order 1-2 sizes larger. Mine have eventually ended up with the charity shop after a few wears, although they are large and yet i am generally medium. For the price you can't really expect better quality cotton - that's ok, but in my view go big!

Fruit of the loom make the best products for an available price even if it is not always easy to buy some in Amazon from Switzerland. So i am glad when i can get some of them, because the quality of the tissue is great and the shape almost fits me perfect. Large is a little small still, it can be more large. Anyway Amazon send the command fast and well protected, stll a probem when the postman who let it anywhere on the floor at my building door without any warning by him. It can be better as the postman from amazon do the same for all commands from other people there. Wierd !!

I bought the small size as my chest is 36" and I prefer tight clothing for my work anyway. However, the sleeves and neck are very very tight, yet the torso size was fine which made for an odd combinationThe sizes of these seems way off the norm so be very careful and unfortunately mine was fully riped at the neck and sleeve after a few weeks. I wouldn't buy them again.

Reasonable price for a long sleeve, couldn't find any in stores, it's not as soft as some other tshirts but it's comfortable enough, the bigger downfall is that the sleeves are quite tight around the wrist area

Bought a few of these now for my son - grey, black, white. The white version had food dropped down it and stained badly so had to work hard to remove it. It came out and the fabric still looks pristine. Really impressed by the fabric. Would recommend.
