Use Goo Gone To Remove The Glue
I am SOOO happy to have found this! It replaces a 30 year old Pyrex pizza plate that broke (our fault, dropped on stone). It was used almost daily for all kinds of oven baked foods, not just pizza. Pyrex no longer makes the pizza plates. But this plate will hold up just as well. I like it even better than the Pyrex dish because the lip is slightly higher which makes it better when I use it to bake or broil juicy vegetables. Aluminum pizza plates are much cheaper, but considering the use we get out of it and the longevity of the dish it is well worth the initial investment. Glass dishes manufactured for cooking are easy to clean, just give them a good soaking, any stubborn leftover stains like baked on grease are best removed with baking soda. The glue, I don't know why some people have such a hard time removing it unless they are not using the right tools. One minute, 2 paper towels, and a couple of drops of Goo Gone, that is all it took me to remove the glue.

Exactly what I needed!
This is a high quality glass pizza dish that can be used for multiple purposes. I like to make a Crab Pizza appetizer that is made with cream cheese, spices, cocktail sauce with lump crab pieces on top and you use crackers to dip in it. It is not baked, but yet it looks like a pizza! The glass dish is also oven safe for when I do make a traditional pizza. I love it!

You can cut your pizza
You can cut your pizza on it and it's easy to clean. I have had 'non stick' that didn't come clean and also 'aluminum' pizza pans which when I cut the pizza left gouges in the aluminum pan. I am really enjoying this glass pizza pan. Yes it was a pain to get the glue off - I used WD40 to remove the glue and then cleaned that off with soap and water 3 times to be sure I got all the WD40 off. Well worth it.

The label removal is a cinch.
After removing the label. Some adhesive residue is left behind. Apply peanut butter on the residue. Leave for about 20 minutes, and wipe off with paper towel or napkin. You may have to repeat the process one more time. But it does work and there's no heavy scrubbing or scouring. Then all you need to do is wash it clean, then you're in business.
