Bought one originally as a simple reading light to clip on child's above bed shelf for bedtime reading & it does the job perfectly - not too big & not too bright; just right. Importantly the cord is long enough to reach from plug just above skirting board to shelf above top bunk without needing any extention cable. Clip is strong with rubber pads. Light adjustable for direction. Product is sturdy and attractive (I got the chrome one). There's also a little rubber sucker included to help putting in/taking out the bulbs, which are very flush. Decided I liked it and got another one for my own office reading spot and then another for my side of the bed! May get another as a spotlight for living room corner too. I'm nearly 50, so I get excited about these things now.

It's early days yet, but I'm happy with it so far.The clamp is strong enough for the lamp to affix to bookshelves, head boards or pretty much anything you could sensibly want to clamp it to. It's fully adjustable - probably around 320 degree rotation and 80 degree elevation - so should be fine for whatever angle you need. The LED bulb that comes already fitted is very bright - while it's apparently only a 3W bulb, it outputs at close to a 50W halogen in terms of brightness.Two minor warnings, however:(1) The way the cable is wound, you'll need to dismantle the attached plug to unwind it. This is pretty easy - you'll only need a Philips head screwdriver - and well worth a couple of minutes' effort.(2) Replacing the bulb is tricky. It's a standard gu10 fitting (like a standard halogen spotlight) but the lamp housing is quite deep, so you won't be able to hold onto the rim of the bulb when attempting to find the plug holes to seat it in. I only found this out because I was interested in checking if the bulb was a standard one or not, so took out the one already fitted and that won't need replacing for up to 25,000 hours, just to have a look. D'Oh. It took a few minutes to refit and in the grand scheme of things a few minutes every 15 years or more spent replacing a bulb isn't going to be much of a problem, but I thought I ought to mention it.

Perfect for those dark areas of a room.Put a Hue bulb in mine and added to our kitchen to cover a dark corner. looks fab, specially with the Hue bulb, and has a lot of adjustment to point in various directions.Would defo recommend and would buy again.

Great little clip-on lamp. Only problem, it’s quite fiddly to change the bulb.

II use a g10 bulb in this light But it it was Very differcult to fit as the face of this particular bulb was nearly the same diameter as the lamp shade Plus there was no list of what bulbs that can be used in this light !! Other than that everything was ok

Takes up less space, than bedside lamp, is attractive to look at and still offers the same brightness as normal lamp. Really like the rotating feature so you can control where the beam shines.
