Worth paying that little bit extra for the included accessories.
I've been thinking of going for my ham license and saw this as a cheap entry level rig, so I bought one from another seller a couple of weeks before. I was impressed enough to consider buying a second one, but I also needed the programming cable, which ain't cheap taking into consideration the cost of the radio. I was well pleased when I discovered this little package deal, and it hasn't disappointed.The radio is a sturdy little box and surprisingly well made for something with such a low price tag. The supplied antenna and instruction manual let it down, though. The replacement antenna in this package is much better.The extra battery is handy but, to be honest, I'm not sure it's all that necessary. The battery in this thing lasts all day when only using the radio as a scanner. (I'm obviously not licensed to transmit yet, but I'm guessing that may well eat up more power.)No problem with the data cable, although I had some difficulty getting the CHIRP software (on Linux Mint) to connect with the radio at first. I had to shut down the computer and restart to get it going (unusual for Linux), then it worked fine.To cut a long story short, I can't recommend this little radio enough, and all the accessories make this particular package the one to go for.

Bargain piece of kit
Wow what a purchase. For this process it's an absolute bargain. Love all the extras included in the box, like the whip aerial for better signal.Look through other reviews like I did, for the website that provides a 3rd party software - makes programming so much easier!There are 0 negatives on this, everything works as expected!

Looking for drivers for Windows 10
Everything is fine but programming cable does not click in and Windows 10 does not setup the driver still looking for a driver 02/04/19 have found the driver everything is running great now

Smashing little 2 way
Great little 2 way radio, very easy to programme to work with most cheap walkie talkies,.loads of advice on YouTube to assist.This pack contains all the other ancilleries that you may need, so good value for money.Very happy

Great little package. The spare battery and all accessories were a major plus point for me .... also bought some throat mics that work very well

Full featured hand held, the build quality and functionality is very good. I purchased a second one especially that they come with a separate hand mic and an additional battery

Great little radio
I’m very pleased with this product. It arrived quickly, was well packaged and it also came with everything you need in order to charge it and use it. I think it would be easy to overlook this radio at this price point. It’s not a toy, it feels well built and it works. Programming it was easy and the supplied cable worked perfectly with Windows 10.
