Nice and sturdy. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you can't use your own replacement rollers because they're attached to the end instead of being able to slide out like the other ones.

So glad I ordered this paint roller kit. I painted with ease to the top of 7 foot walls without my back or arms hurting. I have other roller kits, and this one is much nicer. It was easy to put the poles together, slide on the roller and get to painting. The paint roller is a little thicker than I am used to, but once I got to painting it all went so smoothly. The only thing you will need a ladder for is to cut in the top of the wall. Easy to pull off the roller and change to another color of paint. Like others have said, I am not used to having the entire roller pull off and a thin middle to slide another roller back onto, I'll have to do research to see if I can find replacements easily.

The pole has a solid feel to it and it's a useful feature that you can use the extensions to go up to 4 feet. However, as pointed out in other reviews, the rollers aren't removable from the frame. Most rollers have a metal frame that you slide on and off new naps. As shown in the picture, this roller uses naps that have an inner core that doesn't separate from the nap. I haven't seen naps at the big box stores with this same roller connection for a 9 inch nap. Most have a hollow core that slides onto the metal roller frame. Unless you can find them elsewhere, you'll have to order more naps online. I have multiple other naps that I'd like to use with this roller but won't be able to. The connections on these poles are larger than the other rollers I have with metal frames, so they're not compatible. When I ordered this I expected the red core to be removable so I could slide on new naps, but it's not removable from the nap.

It’s simply not true that you can’t get replacement rollers for this particular design. I actually own a roller handle similar to this one that I purchased from a big box store. Don’t let others discourage you, they just don’t have experience with this type of roller. I’ve painted two houses (full interiors) in the last decade and have a plethora of different sizes and designs of rollers/handles. I really like this 4 foot solid extension pole handle. It’s great for painting a ceiling while standing firm on the ground. I’m about 5’6” and my ceilings are 8 feet, so no more standing precariously on a step ladder while painting above my head. I’ve had an extension handle in the past, but it was telescopic and would collapse while I was mid-rolling. This handle screws together and doesn’t loosen up in use. The rollers themselves have a very thick nap, great for adding a bit of texture to hide flaws or for painting rough surfaces. There was a little bit of loose lint, but easy to remove. Overall, I really like this roller set and highly recommend it to any DIY homeowners looking to easily paint some ceilings.
