Ours has been in place now for a while but it was never very clear and I'm seriously contemplating replacing it. I bought this because it was plastic and therefore less of a problem if it got hit. It gets wiped with reasonable care but very easily gets fine scratches and is now difficult to see down the lane.

Well suited to my blind spot in the lane. Probably need it bigger if you have to view across a normal roadway. Easy to install and bracket is quite flexible for angle - I fitted sucessfully it to a sloping tree branch.Lightweight and unbreakable, and good value.

Just the job

Lasted well for several months, but then after the winter the plastic mirror coating has begun to peel away. Can still use it but reckon it will need replacing in couple more years.

I have just bought my second mirror, mainly because the first had been out in all weathers ( live by the sea, so salt has been covering it too occasionally ) also it has been attacked by hedge cutting neighbours, so it may have weathered a trifle quicker than otherwise in the three years it had been up, but it's non cracking capabilty, has made me decide to buy another. It is very easy to mount on a pole or on a flat wall or post, just choose the fittings that will do the job, they are provided. Fully adjustable in angle and lean, it is very versatile. Don't use anything abrasive to clean it, use glass spray cleaner. It is a handy help for those reversing or getting out of awkward driveways manouvres!! I thought the price was reasonable too, some mirrors do cost a lot more, maybe they have a stronger frame, but this one does most jobs fine I would think. No regrets!!

Much lighter than I had anticipatedbut it will do the job. Not in service yet but is everything it says it is.
