VERY musical speakers, not so great interface
These are simply fantastic speakers. As an audio engineer, sound is very important to me on a daily basis. I'm consistently in front of professional studio monitors performing critical listening tasks to produce musical tunes that will transfer to any type of consumer sound system. That being said, I love these Sevens not because they produce accurate playback, but because they DON'T produce accurate playback. I can still hear most of the details in music, but the speakers have a comfortable rounding-off of certain frequencies (because of their EQ'ing decisions) that tastefully attenuate and taper-off some of the harsher non-musical frequencies that 99% of people don't want to hear, but engineers have to listen for to EQ them out. These speakers just sound amazing, period. The bass tones are incredible even without a sub. My vinyl albums sound so smooth and clean and buttery played thru these things. They are extremely musical speakers. Their enormous sound belies their unassuming compact proportions. The Klipsch engineers have done a fantastic job, yet again, designing speakers that so easily fill a room with beautiful, musical tones. I use them with my turntable, CD player, MD player, and my Android phone via bluetooth and the sound is consistent and clean. I opted for the walnut color because I love the vintage vibes they give off and they look absolutely fantastic in my listening space. I've gotten compliments on them time and again for how great they look. That being said, I'm disappointed that Klipsch produced some false advertisement by not providing the lamb's wool coloring to the front grilles (that were shown in advertising photos of these speakers), and instead opted for a modest light beige fabric. It looks so-so, but it's bland compared to the authentic vintage look lamb's wool - a classic Klipsch material that I'm very surprised didn't make the cut on these Sevens (or even the Fives or Nines). Tsk tsk, Klipsch... You didn't even do the new v2 Sevens proper with authentic lamb's wool grille material. There is also the notorious bluetooth DISconnectivity. Their phone app 'Klipsch Connect' is a slow, cumbersome, unresponsive mess that Klipsch needs to do some serious updating on. It hardly stays connected to the speakers, and when it does connect, the response times are egregiously slow. Also, what's up with the old Light mode theme?? How about some customization options? The app is basically all white, so be prepared for an eye-piercing, face-melting experience in low-light. Personally, I don't listen to music with all the lights on. Who does (unless you're cleaning the house)? So having a Dark mode theme at the very least would be a welcome change. The remote control is also a cheaply designed plastic affair that could use some 21st century updating (are we still living in the 1990s?) Seriously, I've had better remote controls on a $300 surround sound receiver. The Klipsch remote looks and feels like something they got from a third-party company at the lowest bid; like something you'd buy on an old 90s all-in-one stereo made by budget vendors like GPX, Emerson, or Lloyd's - with a low-grade plasticky feel and limited functionality that betrays the quality of the speakers themselves. Tsk tsk again, Klipsch. Quality design shouldn't stop at the main product. Last gripe is the power light. The top of one of the speakers has a sleek aluminum-looking function panel with a refined, supple-feeling input selector knob that has some substantial weight. Nice! But the power light is a super bright white led (blinding) and sits on top of the speaker at the panel, not on the front somewhere discreet-but-noticeable. So in order to know when the speaker is turned on, you can't rely on the sporadic responsiveness of the remote control to power the units, you have to get up and go to the speaker to see if the power actually did engage the speakers. So what's the purpose of having a remote control if you can't even tell if your speakers got powered on?? smh.... It's these small-but-cumulative Quality-of-Life deficiencies that add-up to a bad end-user experience. (Is that the typical Klipsch business model?) However, all that being said, I feel that the musicality of these speakers far out-weighs the headaches of all the small quirks combined. After a while, if you stick with it, the quirks don't necessarily go away, but they do start to fade in the background a bit as you grow accustomed to their existence. At that point, you just want to listen to music through these speakers all the time. They really are that enjoyable to listen to. I got mine used, and had to exchange the first set because I couldn't get the bluetooth to work at all. The replacements work much better, so your mileage may vary. One final point - I would highly recommend choosing your speaker size properly. My room space is roughly 20ft long X 14ft wide X 9ft tall. The Sevens are far-field speakers and almost too much for my space, that's a testament to how much they are capable of filling a room with sound. They are far-field more than near-field. The Nines are even larger and more powerful and I'm sure are even farther-field than not. Then there are The Fives for smaller rooms which aren't necessarily near-field, but might do a medium-to-large bedroom space very nicely. Do the math, look at recommended room sizes for these speakers before buying. The wrong room size can make the speakers sound thin if they don't have enough leg-room to expand their bass reflex system, so mind the distance between the back of the speakers and the wall and the size of your room. Do I recommend The Sevens? Yes. Absolutely yes. For the USED price I got mine for, they are worth it. Hopefully Klipsch, given time, will make some QoL updates to the app and make the speakers' functionality easier to deal with. But aside from that, their sound is quite lovely, organic, analog, buttery, clean, clear, strong and most of all, musical.

Couldn’t be happier
Purchased another popular powered speaker with a three initial name and higher price tag. The wife who has exceptional critical listening skills laughed and commented they sounded like our first generation Sonos. I completely agreed. The sound was thin, tinny with no bass at all. They were quickly boxed up and sent back. No slight against the Sonos, it’s great for its size and price but these were 7x the price! No Bueno The Sevens went on sale for Black Friday and I ordered a pair immediately. I’m a big fan of Klipsch since I first heard a pair of Klipschhorns as a teenager and have a pair of vintage Forte’s in the basement on our two channel stereo and surround system. We wanted something better than the Sonos in the upstairs living room that didn’t take up too much space. These fit the bill although not small by any means and not light either, these are real speakers not toys! They were well packaged and extremely easy to set up. I added a WiiM mini for streaming via the optical input. Like any speaker they take a little time to break in, but immediately they filled the medium size living room with full, rich, alive sound. Highs are high without being harsh, vocals and mids are crisp and lifelike and more than enough bass without a sub for us as they mostly provide background music. Maybe if you like bass heavy music and want a bit more a sub would work but try them first. The finish is beautiful and matches out mid century house. Might not work if you like the modern plastic vacuum sweeper look of modern designs but that’s up for you to decide. I didn’t try any of the other brands at this price point and at the sale price honestly there wasn’t anything close to even look at. Pros: Sound Looks Easy setup Sound Cons: No built in streamer (although I prefer being able to sync WiiM’s across three different systems in the house) Price at retail (although pound for pound they are still a deal. Wait for sales) Looks may not blend well in modern homes I wish the grill fabric was darker to match the heritage full size models.

Expensive Paperweights
I purchased the Sevens in July 2025 for my office. Sound quality and exterior cabinetry is excellent. Unfortunately, about eight months later they quit working. I contacted Klipsch they sent me instructions on how to reload the firmware, but unfortunately that didn't work. Klipsch then sent me flash drives with the updated firmware on them and that didn't work either. Klipsch said they would send me new internals, but those parts, are on backward that was four months ago. I have a very expensive pair of paper weights in my office. I think Klipsch should just send me a new pair of speakers, and I will gladly return the defective speakers to them. This is not my first Klipsch purchase I own a pair of Forte iVs and after four years of owning and using the Forte IVsh Happy with them. they've been performing for three years now without a glitch. Sadly, I can't say that about the Sevens. I cannot recommend these nor would I ever again buy a Klipsch product not so much because of the build quality but because of the lack of adequate warranty service, I should've read the negative reviews first because there you find the truth about a product. Don't buy these speakers. Update: it's been over four months since I submitted a warranty claim to Klipsch. I was told that replacement parts would be sent to me. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with replacement parts. Do they expect me to perform the service on the speakers myself? I'm not a train electronic specialist. I'm just a consumer. I've repeatedly emailed Klipsch inquiring when I can expect the replacement parts to arrive and I've also requested replacement of the speakers, since it's been over four months, since the claim was made in the promised replacement parts have not arrived. I've received no reply from Klipsch. I've been ghosted by Klipsch. I used to be a Klipsch fan. In fact I own a pair of Forte IV's and they perform well. Unfortunately, the Klipsch sevens have been a disappointment. What is more disappointing than owning a pair of expensive paper weights from Klipsch is the fact that they do not support their customer. I will never again purchase product from Klipsch!.

Worth every penny!
TLDR: These are excellent, easy 5 stars. The music and TV sounds amazing, no sub required for me. History: I've always owned soundbars and they come with a sub and it is setup to be overpowering bass to distract from the fact that the little speakers are not the best quality. In a bedroom affixed to a wall, the soundbar sounds fine. Usage: This was going in a living room connected to a Frame TV, so I wanted something more classy looking and I went with the walnut to blend better. Setup: They were easy to setup and I connected via HDMI, so my TV will control the volume, so I only have to use the one remote. Some minor adjusting with the Klipsch Connect app was necessary because they come standard with not the best EQ settings. The Dynamic bass boost enabled, raise the mids up 2, bass up 4, treble up 1. It's important to slightly angle the speakers a few degrees, so the sound will cross a few feet from the end of the room. The cables make it so the speakers are a couple inches away from the wall, which is necessary because there are air exhaust vents on the back. The Result: These are really amazing. They were 800 and worth every penny. I'm actually extremely blown away. Better than any sound bar. On low volume they're crisp, and high volume booming with my settings. I was going to get a sub, but the 6.5" subs are more than sufficient. These are the best speakers I've ever owned. They're sleek and classy looking and sound amazing. Extremely plug and play friendly with only a few minutes fiddling with the app.

Fantastic listening experience, and audio versatility.
The speakers sound great, what else can I say that hasn't been said already. The delivery experience was thankfully uneventful, and the product was effectively secured for transportation. The sound is crisp and bright without sounding tinny; there is a clear delineation between highs and mids, and while the bass isn't overwhelming, is provides for a fuller sound than I've experienced with smaller speakers. The sub line-out signal is phenomenal, pushing an older JBL powered woofer harder than my old Yamaha receiver could, and at not very high volumes; substantive bass without having to push the mid-ends into uncomfortable auditory ranges. The only thing I would consider a possible point of caution is that the speaker with all the electronics (DAC, power supply, etc.) gets very hot after prolonged use - think 3 to 4 hours - and there is no heatsink attached to the back of the unit to aid in heat dissipation. High heat and complex circuitry are not constructive bedfellows and the long-term health of the unit is something to take into account. Otherwise a fantastic purchase and shopping experience that I would have no reservations about recommending or utilizing again.

Snatch 'em up while you can
Delivered quickly and thanks for the sale! I am coming from the Fives on a Topping balanced Pre-amp and VMVD2R. I have a large desk at home. It is really a dinner table that I use as a desk because I like huge computers and monitors. These fit well on my desk due to its large size. These speakers are medium sized, not ideal for small or standard sized desks. I think if you have 32" or lower monitor and a 70 inch desk, you should be fine. I know these are made for, "room listening," but the sound stage is so much wider, with much warmer and well integrated mids. Highs aren't as harsh as with the fives. I find that this matches much better with the included DSP for lower volume listening on my Klipsch 12" sub. I haven't tried this on my turntable, but I bet it would give my 1000 dollar (which is not extravagent, I know) set-up of the Swan d3.1 and emotitiva Ta1 a big run for their money. Grab these before they are gone ya'll!!

Amazing Sound
I love these speakers. Very very nice sound from all inputs. These speakers really shine when you use them with a sub and they really really shine when you use a decent decent quality turntable as their source.
