Follow the instructions, don't cut corners. there is only one place to start, ie the beginning. It makes an unusual ornament. Not quite sure as to how useful it will be! I might still have a go at some of their other designs. Not to proud to be seen doing it at 80+

I completed this lovely little box, following the instructions very carefully, and it worked. At first all the compartments came open and then shut properly. Unfortunately this wasn't to last. After about five times of opening and shutting it broke. I was closing it and it became stuck, I very carefully tried to push it shut and a little piece of wood shot out and now it doesn't work properly at all. Very disappointed as it was very expensive. I have made other objects using the same seller and wooden constructions and have had no problems. What a shame!

The end result is very satisfying and as per the pictures. The good thickness of wooden parts makes it robust when assembling the intricate box. I was impressed by the clear instructions backed up by the video via the QR code reader. The item was well packed and delivery was very prompt as expected by Amazon. I would recommend this model, read the instructions carefully and take your time understanding the cogs/working parts. I shall be purchasing other models from this manufacturer (NOT made in China!).

if you follow the instructions on how to build the puzzle, you should be fine . The good thing about it not being glued or screwed is that you can undo a mistake if you catch it before you get to far.
