It is a must
It is a must if you have a Gaggia Classic Pro (or Evo Pro), and you will use a non pressurized basket. Your espresso consistency will be greatly increased. I used only the 9 bar spring. Very easy to install too.

The 9 bar is a noticeable improvement over the stock 15 bar that came with my Gaggia Classic pro. Espresso shots are smoother and more consistent now. Also very easily to install

Installation of 9 bar spring not egregious; fairly easy to install. Definite improvement in my espresso. I may try the 6 bar spring in time.

Easy installation and produces GREAT Espresso Shots!
Really impressed with this super easy modification to my Gaggia. Quick install and pressure gauge is showing a static pressure of 10 Bar when testing with a blank portafilter. Showing right around 9 Bar when pulling a shot. Overall, probably the easiest and cheapest mod you can make to your Gaggia to improve your espresso shots.

If you are thinking about it just do it! It's so worth it!
This took my shots from a spraying mess to beautiful clean extractions. Did not see a ton of reviews for this so was a bit skeptical but it worked perfectly for me. Did not test with exact pressure at the group but doesn't really matter for me results are showing every time I pull a shot. Honestly it should have came with the 9 bar spring in the machine box.

Easy to install
Easy to install. Now coffee takes 40-60 sec for 36ml with the same setting on grinder. It is likely better taste? That I don't know.

Spring too big, pressure still 13-14 bar
Other reviewer was correct when stating spring is too large in diameter, it rubs the inside of the part it goes into and gets caught- I tested the 9 bar spring and I got 13-14 bar pressure with it.

Correct pressure for 9bar spring
Bought the set, installed the 9bar spring and tested the pressure delivered at the portafilter (not inside the pump).. Gave me a 9,25 kgf/cm2 which is equivalent to 9bars. Very happy with the results!!

Llego a tiempo, llevo 2 o 3 meses de uso y me ha servido muy bien para extraer mejor el espresso. Se coloca de manera muy sencilla.

Exactly what I was expecting
Works well and is easy to install. Be aware you still need to open up your espresso machine and tinker a bit inside, but if you are good, it's very easy following videos on youtube.

De las mejoras más notables y más baratas que le puedes hacer a tu Gaggia, definitivamente algo que tienes que instalarle a tu máquina si estás muy metido en el mundo del espresso. Disminuye la canalización (channeling) y aumenta la extracción.

Great upgrade for GCP
Bought this for my Gaggia classic pro, the 9 bar OPV makes a big difference in shot consistency. Worth the upgrade and easy to do yourself.
