Makes me wanna slap my momma!
I have been struggling to keep the noise level down in my kitchen when we have Sunday family gatherings. The kitchen has cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors, so there was nothing to absorb the sound which resulted in unbearable echoing while we’re sitting around the island watching “momma” cook Sunday gravy. This year, we underwent a major kitchen overhaul and so the new, larger island has room for six barstools. I knew I was going to need to do something about the noise. These panels seemed plain enough to just disappear and that is exactly what they did. They are very sticky (imagine the glue line in a bubble mailer only all over the whole back side) so, I installed the 20 I received and ordered another pack of 20 to finish the back of the ceiling beam and will use the rest elsewhere. So far, so good. Once the new granite is installed and the family is welcomed back each week, I do believe the sound will be more manageable.

Seems legit....
We installed 14 of these 15-pack white panels, along with one pack each of green and blue (to sprinkle throughout), in our living/family/media room.1. The finished look reminds me of a childs room. It's...pleasant. Comforting.Even so:2. Every day I look up and I like it, even though it's in my living room. So, even though they're in my living room, and I can't really tell if they help acoustically, and we needed a hot-glue gun to make them stick, and cutting the tiles for the edges is very, very difficult...it was a cheap, easy and quick fix for an aging sand-finish ceiling.

Aesthetically pleasing
The self adhesive works great, don’t listen to other users who are saying it doesn’t. They likely didn’t follow the tips of washing ur walls first.I scrubbed to wall with warm water, soap and a scrub daddy and let air dry for about 6 hours before attaching and they held up great. They look really high quality as well. So aesthetically it will be great. As far as actually working to absorb sound, I’m unsure. I’m familiar with 2-4 inch sound panels, and they tend to work very well. This is about half an inch, so it will likely take me sound proofing every free wall space to make a difference, which is why I recommend getting thicker panels for other areas of ur room and not only rely on a few half inch thick panels. I’m not holding this against the seller tho, as I knew this before buying it and was more focused on the looks of it than strictly absorbing sound.

Used to finish a basement ceiling
We're using these to finish our basement ceiling. They adhere really well to the wood and are easy to install. Probably not the cheapest option but we didn't want to mess with drywall. The ceiling is not competely level so we have been using painters tape to fill the cracks from the top. It looks perfect!

poor adhesive
These tiles look nice and went up easily but I came back two days later and half of the tiles were on the floor . Some are now stuck together and cannot be used again. I want to say I loved them as the design I put up looked great at first , but I now have a mess to fix.

Good for "echo" reduction.
Bought these to reduce echo in a room with hard surfaces. Adhered well and appear to reduce the echo. Did not purchase to provide soundproofing, so unable to comment on that.

Works well and look good!
Utilized these on the ceiling of our former dining room to help reduce the echo and reverbing conversations. We have hardwood floors and needed something to help cut down the sound, and these did the trick! They look great and blend well into our room as we transformed the space into a full-time bar.

Smaller than stated
They are not very sound proof and they measured almost an inch smaller than the description stated.
