Nailtiques Nail Protein Formula # 2, 0.25 Fl. Oz (Pack of 1)

Absolutely amazing! Have been using on myself and my two nail biting daughters (ages 13 & 17) for a month now and all of our nails are longer and healthier. All three of us struggle with very thin nails that break and peal constantly and do not grow quickly. I have had less breakage than I normally do (which was a lot!) My nails feel stronger and hold up against damage much better and the same for my daughters (one is in cheer and dance and the other is a life guard). Between the three of us, we are very active and normally have a lot of problems, not to mention that both of my daughters bit their nails all the time. This polish lasts a few days with 2 coats applied on clean nails. It doesn't peal or flake off. If the very tips of our nails loose the polish, we can very quickly apply another coat without removing the first coat or having to wait for it to dry. I usually apply another coat every 2-3 days before I walk out the door to work. By the time I am turning on my car, the polish is dry. The polish works well as a base coat or by itself. It doesn't yellow the nails either. Overall, it is an amazing product that I am so happy I have found. I just ordered a 4 pack to make sure we don't run out!

Wanted to share my process since it took a little experimentation. I reapply this about once a week. Only one layer is needed. If I apply multiple coats, or apply on top of old applications, the layers are visible and it chips off easier. So put it on, wait a week, take it off with remover and reapply. My nails look so much more healthy. I'm hard on my hands, scrubbing dishes, rock climbing, etc. This formula has really helped prevent breakage and made me feel more confident in how my nails look!!

Every time I put this on, my nails grow exponentially in DAYS! I have had this for a few months now and had only used it when I just wanted a clear polish but also wanted to strengthen my nails and was always surprised at how well my nails looked and felt when I had it on. But this last time really wowed me. I had had gel nails for awhile for an event and didn't want to pay to get them soaked off, so I kind of just picked at them until they came off and my nails were so brittle and breaking every few minutes it seemed. So I figured best to start over and cut them really short and put Nailtiques Protein on my nails and I promise you, within days they were so long and strong! I'm adding photos because I actually couldn't believe how fast it improved them. The picture was taken literally 3 days after cutting them super short! Definitely recommend if you're looking to make your nails stronger, healthier and longer!

As good as it gets for women who suffer from the unholy trinity of thin nails, short nail beds, and flat nails. Because this formula is flexible, it doesn’t try to make your nails stiff. The downside is if you have the thin, flat nails, it still peels off, so you have to take it off every week or so and start again from fresh. It has not made my nails long, but my nails have gotten to a more even length, but they are still shorter than the top of my finger fingertip. However, it is not a miracle product, if you have thin flat nails nothing is going to work. I’ve looked for something for 35 years. At least nailtiques 2 is better than nailtiques 1. I remember my grandmother trying to get me to use nailtiques one and it just didn’t work and it was not flexible so it just made my nails peel even worse. Well, now I’m 52, and this product is still peeling, so as I said, it’s not a miracle, you are going to have to take it off at least once a week if not twice a week and start reapplying.

I have been using this product as a basecoat for several years. Keeps my nails strong and free of peeling. Nothing else compares to this formula!
