World Tech Arms 1/24 Scale RC Type 90 Battle Tank - Green, Military, Remote Controlled Toy Tank

Fantastic toy. Enemy invaders (cats) beware!
This looks fantastic, especially when it's driving around. The control can operate one handed, but it's easier to use a second hand to rotate the turret (and two hands if you want to press two driving controls at the same time). The transmitter has a power light that changes colour as the battery charge drops (and the original battery has lasted several hours so far). The range on the transmitter seems to be about 30-40 metres, though this can be lower going through solid objects - I usually use mine with a first person view camera attached, so it can drive away out of sight. (The little hatch where the man can go is a perfect place for concealing a small square battery for the camera.) Looking directly down the gun barrel makes it extremely accurate. I have had a problem a few times with the gun not shooting due to the safety feature, requiring it to be switched off and on to reset it - however I think of couple of times this was just due to me pressing the wrong button. The tank drives great, and can operate on virtually any terrain. On a solid surfaces it works perfectly, but on grass and other loose surfaces it can have trouble turning. As long as you learn how to drive it on these surfaces though, making only small turns then driving straight forwards or backwards a little, it performs very well. It can get stuck if you drive over a hump that goes in between the tracks, lifting them off the ground a bit, or if it's just too slippery to get a good grip, but nearly every single time it has got stuck, with persistence I have been able to drive it out of trouble and not needed to go and manually pick it up.The tracks can start to come off the wheels during hard turning, however once again you don't need to go and put them back on, it's a simple matter to drive them back into position, usually by driving forwards and backwards repeatedly, a little further each time. The tank battery lasts maybe 40 minutes to an hour, depending on how much power you are using. It takes four hours to charge - presumably; I had to calculate it. The charger doesn't switch off when the battery is charged, and you don't want to overcharge it (or put too little in). It's just 8 standard 1.2 volt AA rechargeable cells wrapped together, so can easily be replaced.
