Electric Guitar then AVOID this product
Reason for this review is to save any electric guitar owners the same aggravation that I have suffered. The description, clearly states that this stand can be used for an electric guitar. I admit that It's a lovely looking stand and I admit my electric guitar sat on it quite solidly. However that's the end of the positives!!! After just a few days of my electric guitar standing on it I discovered that the section of the guitar that sits on the stand was scratched to hell and as the guitar is just 3 weeks old I think you'll understand why I'm mad as hell at this product and I have the photos to prove it!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING AMAZON AND SELLER!!!! UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO COUGH UP FOR THE REPAIR ON MY GUITAR!!!

ok
i really wanted to like this product as i was sick of the standard black cheap looking cheap guitar stands i usually buy.however it just didn't quite do it for me. the rubber wasn't quite as grippy as maybe it could be, so i never felt like my guitar was particularly secure - using this product made me miss being able to just plonk my guitar onto my old stand and it would sit right every time, whereas on this one i had to take an extra bit of effort each time to made sure it stood up nicely.i have returned this to get one of my cheap black ones again.

Damages your guitar!
The way this stand is designed puts an edge to edge contact between the stand and guitar and has chipped my brand new guitar in 4 places! Utter crap. It might look good but if you care about your guitar don't buy this. Topples easily too. Are the manufacturers going to buy me a new guitar??!

Good quality stand
Good quality stand. Well made for it's price. Match well the wooden flooring.

Not fit for purpose
Is this a joke? I get that it’s cheap (and looks it) but I would expect it to fulfil its fundamental purpose. Be careful putting a standard acoustic guitar in it or you’ll watch it fall over. I’ve just decorated my house if this stand goes near a wall I’m certain it’s just a matter of time before the guitar falls and scrapes my paintwork. Bottom line... this is not a stand that you can casually put your guitar in. Not fit for purpose!!!

Don't use with a guitar you love
Very disappointed with this. Yes, it fits together fine and will hold an acoustic nicely. But, whatever glue they use to fix the 'leather' cushioning to the wood is seriously bad for you guitar's finish! My Martin now bears a rather annoying mark that won't polish away. Now, tbf (9 June) the company contacted me following my review and offered a full refund (maybe I should have pressed for compensation for harm to a £2,500 guitar!). They also added they are aware of the glue issue and are working to find a better option. I assume they will revise the listing once that's done, but till then ... well, be aware.

Recommended Guitar Stand
An attractive and well made modern design guitar stand, suitable for Classical guitars including:Tenor, Contrabass and Alto. I do not recommend it for narrow bodied guitars. Easily disassembled and reassembled if you want to use it for gigging. I am very happy with this guitar stand.

Elegant & Easy
I find this item simply effective: it looks good, it's super easy to assemble, and it is well finished. It does the job beautifully--I am using it for a classic guitar; have tried it also with an acoustic and works equally fine. I haven't tried it with an electric guitar (i.e. with a thinner and heavier body than a classic/acoustic), but I don't see why it shouldn't work. Absolutely recommended for anyone, from musician to random gift.
