Perfect for banked or flat usage.
We bought this for use with our Shure CVG12-B/C Gooseneck condenser Mic. It works great. Weight is just right to allow it to be used on both a banked podium or flat desk/table. The Connections are of high quality. The base stays stable even when the microphone is adjusted up and down. The best part is it is completely mobile. No drilling holes or screwing into the podium or table. A great buy for our church.

Worked as planned for our podium at church. Used this instead of drilling a hole. Works well with Samson CM15P Gooseneck in our installation.

Microphone and Stand are used on a church pulpit. The stand is heavy enough to hold the microphone where you put it, and I like the fact that it comes with a 12 foot cable instead of 12 inch cable, which gives us more than enough room for xlr hookups. Very recommendable.

Good Quality Mount
I installed this in a church. The product description say the cable is 12", but it is actually 12', which was a plus for me. The mike fits snugly in the mount.

If you prefer not drilling hole and portable, this is the one.
Works great with the gooseneck. Happy with the base as it avoid drilling holes on the conference table and podium, espeically we use the microphone with this base on various locations.

There are Pros and Cons
Pros:CVG Mics can be plugged in directly.Solid, will not tip over with Shure CVG-12 Mic.Cons:Takes up a good amount of space on the Desk/Podium.The cable is hard wired. I wish the cable was detachable. Bummer. We could use this at many venue, only if we can use a short TR4 to XLR Cable to hang a Wireless Transmitter off this.

Five Stars
These work well. Heavy to they stay in place. 12- foot lead, not 12-inch as the description indicated.
