Oh dear!
Sorry but I had to laugh when I saw this. I was under the assumption that cooking utensils would be a pretty standard size for adult use so was not expecting an almost toy size version! As you can see from the picture, my lovely son left my slice on the edge of the frying pan and melted it so I was looking for a replacement that was as close in style as possible to my existing set. If you were to give life to an inanimate object, my slice may have a disability but at least it now has a mini me for company (well for the period until I return it anyway)It seems a decent quality but I think the plastic part is not flexible enough, it is quite a stiff plastic with a grain to it. I would imagine that over time it could wear away a non stick coating. So in general I don't think I could recommend buying unfortunately

It'll last a lifetime!
PTFE over steel business end, heavy gauge stem and insulated handle, all stainless: real, proffessional-standard quality! Only snag is the cost compared to the 'standard' plated wire stem and low melting point plastic items around - but it's well worth it.

Non stick spatula
My old one broke after years of wear so this was my replacement. Does the job and worked well flipping pancakes. Yum yum.

Melted when cooking
Waste of money. Melted when I was cooking eggs.

Good product, but I expect it won't last long
I ordered this turner as replacement for my old silicone turner, that had served me for about 5 years before breaking. I wanted something durable and versatile so decided to try this one based on its excellent reviews.Build quality is good, it has a sturdy stainless steel handle, which also looks good in a kitchen. The spatula itself is of nylon, not as flexible as silicone, nor as hard as plastic. The edge is thin and allows to easily slide below food even if it sticks to the pan. It's marked to be safe up to 210C/410F.My only concern is about the lifetime of the item. I used it for about 10 days and a very little 'curl' of black plastic material has already come off the edge of the spatula. This while I scratched the bottom of a hot pan to grill some food. The pan was quite hot so it was - I guess - close to the 210C limit, but still this is normal everyday use had not happened in 5 years with my previous cheap turner.I'll post an update on this after a few months of use.

Does the job
The actual head is smaller than I had hoped, but appears well made and does the job, so am happy with the purchase overall. The actual size of the black flipper/slice end is 10cms long by 6.5cms to 6.7cms ( shaped) wide.
