Operations Management For Dummies

Although this is a ref book I read it front to back. Operations management is the core of business and this book help me understand why. I also have knowledge of HOW to use this new knowledge in my own business regardless of why type of business.

I am quite knew to operations management and this book has so far given me some ideas on how to address certain set backs I’ve encountered

Good quality, comprehensive book for beginners. Doesn't talk down at reader. Inherent sexism in the roles prescribed as exemplar material.

Brought the book to help me at uni, always unavailable in the library so goes to show how popular this books is! i would recommend to friends and family.

Detailed and informative. CD provides SOP which will be extrememlt usrful.

Average book, very generic without detail in the key areas

Don’t listen to whilst driving, it will put you to sleep. Doesn’t translate well to audio, confusing when there’s break out boxes and the narrator is a bit monotonous!

Great book to introduce yourself in the complex world of Operations Management

Excellent read. Helps the average Joe understand the basic fundamentals of OM.

This book was purchased as an e-book as well as an audiobook it was paired together with it. All the audio books that I've listened to, and that's nearly two dozen, but this has the most easy to listen to narration for the technical subject. I know exactly which chapters to come back to to study in depth, but every single chapter was highly relevant to the real world experiences of supply chain management and operations management I cannot say this enough. Put in the 13 hours and listen to it cover to cover.
