I had reservations but I was sold on the price based on the idea if it don't work, I have not lost a lot:) - it arrived in very good time and in use is brilliant! The idea, in common sense terms, is to plonk it on a nice, clean part of the metal you are going to weld and it gives a nice hefty 'clung' noise as you stick it on and its no difference to using the clamp type.In use it works very well and sticks to bits that I would normally struggle to fit the usual clamp type onto, but it likes (obviously) clean metal or if using it on rusted or otherwise soiled metal, just wire-brush or using an angle grinder on it to prepare and away you go. Impressed overall and certainly worth the asking price (July 2017) .

A good strong magnet, works well.

A magnetic welding earth block as it is, the strong magnetic disc comes in handy for a myriad of other uses too, like magnetising screwdriver shafts to hold screws on their tips without hand assistance, etc, etc, etc. At the price I think it's a good 'un being as I don't do anything specific anymore as a retired person but know how to weld and all sorts of other practical things besides. I got it to replace an older one of a similar design that went 'walkies' about a year ago.Eamonn

This tool isn't going anywhere in a hurry! Be careful where you put it - the magnet is so strong that it takes a lot of shifting unless you can get done leverage. Excellent! Also watch your fingers ...

I kept the earth clip as standard and use the magnet to get an easy earth. Works well.

Seems well made. Easy to hard wire or clamp to and a good price. Very useful

Magnet required glueing back into place after minimal use, other than that working fine.

A very good looking magnet too use when welding as an earth,a lot larger than i was expecting and looks very well made,this item would have many other uses and i am very impressed with the price it is retailing for,a very useful item for any hobby or diy enthusiast

Es una buena masa imagisada de soldadura. El dedon de contacto se ajusta automáticamente con un muelle. Así siempre hay masa.El precio es el del mercado, no es un chollo.

Pas encore testé sur la durée,mais la fabrication est bonne ainsi que le ''collage ''magnétique.C'est un parfait point d'ancrage pour la pince,Aussi pratique que bon marché,ne pas se priver!
