arthritis in my hands is making it hard for me in the kitchen, particularly when cutting vegetables, and i have been looking for replacements for tools that don't safely meet my needs anymore. cost is also very important to me, also. this knife is a WOW. excellent weight, well balanced, an easy to hold handle and sharp blade. what a bang for the buck ! i have found serrated blades so much easier to use and they stay sharp. this is a high quality, well designed product which i find more accommodating than a longer chefs knife.

This was worth every cent. Cute watermelon and pineapple like butter.

I have some expesive knifes which I find now too heavy for me. This knif has a winning combination;1. Very sharp with a fine seration, which will keep the edge sherp a long time.2. Good balance.3. Light weight.4. A comfotable length.I like to recommend this knife to anybody who loves to cook. I makes prep work faster and easier.

Love the degree of sharpness for precise cutting. There handle provides and easy and firm grip. Only negative is that the blade is not very thick (not flimsy but has little "weight")

This knife has (for me) stayed sharp for two years; I have not sharpened it during that time. Today it cuts tomatoes as well as two years ago. It has to be seen to be believed.

For me, a knife like this is kind of a splurge, LOL, but worth every penny. This knife is excellent, and very sharp. You could cut yourself (like I did) and not even know it, until you see red.I'm relatively new to researching and buying kitchen knives, but this is such a good knife, that I would think the most expert chef, experienced with some of the world's best knives, would not feel lacking at all with a set of kitchen knives of this caliber.

These are the best knives on the market as far as I am concerned. First of all the blade is so thin you can actually cut with the back side. I found myself doing this once, wondering if I needed to sharpen my knife only to realize I was holding it wrong! They are very sharp, strong, light weight, and wonderful to use!
