Putty Buddies (Colours May Vary)

We have a dedicated swimmer in our family, who trains several times a week. Unfortunately, she has been plagued by ear aches / pressure pain and regularly gets water stuck in there. We've had numerous trips to the doctor, with the resulting ear infections. We were told because of her age and therefore ear size, it was something we had to endure and she would grow out of - the problems would lessen as her ear insides grew bigger. Needless to say, this didn't go down well with her, or us. We tried having the swim cap pulled down further, to no avail. A test of foam ear plugs was also completely useless - her ears were far too small for even the smaller varieties to have any effect and they were fiddly and annoying and pinged out. Our last-ditch attempt was these putty plugs. The problem is with swim training - needing to dive, listen to instructions and swim without irritation / fiddling. These ear plugs were absolutely fantastic. They moulded into her ear and therefore stayed in place, partially under a swim cap. She was still able to hear instructions and said they felt comfortable. Diving posed no problems - they stayed in place. Blocking out the water meant the pressure pains have gone completely and there is now significantly less chance of water getting in there and infections taking hold. We are really thankful that we have been able to find a solution to our problem - and these are very cheap remedies! - and one that our normally fussy daughter is very happy to use.

Bought for my 3 year old for use in bath and swimming pool after having grommets fitted. Used with the ear bandit for extra protection. The putty is tacky and lasts a lot longer than I was expecting. 3 pairs in the pack. Easy to press and mould over ear rathet than inserting in to ear you squish n push putty to make a seal. The colours are bright and nice little box to keep them in. Once moulded it provided a nice seal and prevented water getting in ears. Ltitle one was happy to wear and caused no discomfort he was eager to help put them in. Really pleased

Amazing!!! So I have a little boy (age 2) who takes continuous ear infections and began to associate swimming with pain. We tried just a cap but he would scream his head off. One of the lifeguards recommended these and so far so good with him being in the pool. Due to his age I didn't want ear buds and these fit the bill perfectly. We use with a swim cap rather than head band as I'd expect him to pull the band off. The only negative I have is that it said on the packaging half of one for each ear of a child but I have found my son needs 1 full in each and don't think he has particularly large ears lol.

This is the second pack of putty buddies I've bought. My 5 year old has got grommets in both ears and therefore had to keep water out of his ears. These are great for showers/washing hair; however for swimming, I wouldn't trust them (or any earplugs for that matter) to stay in on their own! So he also wears an Ear-Bandit which is a neoprene headband that goes around the head, covering the ears and does up with velcro at the back. The Putty Buddies are easy to mould and are slightly sticky, staying in well. Initially there was a trace of earplug left around the outer ear (where the earplug's sticky) but after several uses this doesn't happen. After a while, they lose the stickiness and need replacing...this, for us, is after a few months! I would recommend them to anybody, particularly children with grommets. And there are no complaints from my 5 year old, which is always good!

Always buy these , use for showering and swimming and never lets water in, I suffer with a medical condition and vertigo so these are a game changer for me, my husband suffers with ear infections, doesn’t matter how many times I’ve said in the past “don’t get your ears wet) !!!!!!!! Well finally he listened , started using these putty buddies and low and behold no more ear infections, lol. Highly recommend. In some reviews I have seen people say long hair got stuck onto the silicone but I tie my hair back while I put them in my ears and never had a problem, I also warm them up in my hands for a few seconds so when I put in ear it’s extra pliable and moulds to ear nice and tight .

Can't fault the product at all. Great for my son whilst swimming to avoid ear infections. What is frustrating is not being able to choose the preferred colour. For the second time, my son has girl colours and will not wear them so I will have to go else where for them.

This is my second pack of buddies. The pack comes with three sets in bright colours plus a little round container to keep the current ones in. Each set can be worn a few times before the material begins to deteriorate. I find them easy to use and they have made a big difference in avoiding water in my ears and subsequent infections. Highly recommended.

Bought these with high hopes as my daughter had grommets fitted. Only tried them in the bath. They fall out all the time even though I followed the instructions. They also got a lot worse the 2nd or 3rd time. Could never trust these in the swimming pool. Terribly disappointed. Emailed seller to ask for advice on fitting but did not respond, poor customer care also.

Haben diese Stöpsel schon mehrmals bestellt, weil wir echt überzeugt sind. Meine Tochter hat Paukenröhrchen und soll daher mit Wasser vorsichtig sein. Diese Stöpsel sind einfach in die Ohren zu machen, halten Spritzwasser gut ab und sind dann restlos wieder zu entfernen. Einfach super

I ordered putty buddy ear plugs for my kids to use in the pool. Where other ear plugs would have fallen out and had to be reinserted (over and over which would cause irritation) these did not. Which meant less complaining andno more swimmers ear. Yay! Thanks! I will definitely recommend these.

Ottimo acquisto. Cercavo dei tappi per i miei bimbi che durassero più della mezz’ora che sono durati i precedenti, prima che li perdessero! Sono modellabili e riutilizzabili, per la bimba di 4 anni ne uso solo uno diviso a metà perché sono grandini. L’acqua non passa, i tappi si appiccicano al condotto uditivo e non si muovono nonostante tuffi ripetuti e giochi. All’inizio può essere difficile rimuoverli ma basta fare dei movimenti dolci e avere un po’ di calma. Acquisto consigliato!

サーフィン用に購入。普通の耳栓だと結構すぐになくしてしまうのですが、 これは気に入っていて、何回か購入しています。 砂とかで結構汚れますが。

My 7 year old daughter had an ear infection and needed something that would allow her to swim with the others at day camp until her ear healed. She was able to put these in herself and no water got in at all. I cut each one in half and effectively got double the amount of plugs, which was a good thing since the only negative is that dirt/dust/hair sticks to them quite easily and you do not get many uses out of each one. I will definitely use these again and would recommend them highly.
