D&D Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures: Minotaur

All Creatures Great and Small
This is a really great miniature by Nolzur's - good detail, paintable, very few mold lines (on my copy, at least), and a large base to keep it stable. What's weird, though, is the size of the model. The MM lists a minotaur as size large, meaning 10' or so tall. I'd say this figure is maybe 7' at scale? The photo shows a dwarven paladin from Nolzur's for comparison, which is probably supposed to be 4-5' tall, so I was a little underwhelmed with the size of the minotaur - not quite the imposing figure I was expecting.Even though the paint job isn't finished yet, I think it's going to turn out pretty well, but as my wife always says "I was hoping for something bigger."

Great buy!
Great mini! Worked perfectly for our campaign. Easy to paint and pre-primed.

Great quality
Used this to depict my wife’s PC. Easy to paint and looks good with a sweaty metallic gold orange skin color.

Way too small, shorter than normal human model
Way too small and bad mould linesIf your character is a dwarf/minotaur crossbreed, maybe? Smaller than a normal human. Guessing Wizkids have a smaller scale so if you only use Wizkids I'm sure it's great for a small human sized minotaur. I have no use for this model so got dumped straight into the bits box, I might be able to use it for basing material or something

Quality model
Looks tough, fun paint and no rough bits. Well worth it’s price. Smallish (same as the mind flayers) but the flail adds height
