Satisfied with this product. At first I was sceptical with the quality of this strap clamp. But after receiving it and using it, I'm very happy.

Sturdy construction & value for money..

For small tables, chair, boxes.... It works really fine

I love these things (I have two) My perspective is that of a hobbyist woodworker, I don't have clamps big enough to hold a cabinet.. but I do have these f'ers, so I can absolutely build furniture at that scale. If you're able to think geometrically, they can solve almost any clamping problem, even on fairly large scales. Yes, you still need proper clamps, but these things are just 'options' for when everything else goes wrong. Cannot recommend highly enough. That is not to say you need the Stanley version... These are the ones I got, but the cheep knockoffs would be pretty much just as good, its not a complicated mechanism that anyone could get wrong. Negatives: If you let the strap slip out of the locking thingy, its a gigantic pain in the ass to put back in.... so, just don't do that.

I tried another band clamp also offered through Amazon, but upon applying pressure, one of the plastic guides snapped. The Stanley on the other hand showed no signs of stress as I applied pressure. I need to mention that I was clamping a box newel post, and not a light weight picture frame. I saw that these are very similar to the Dewalt band clamp (no longer available) and learned that Stanley owns Dewalt and the spec's matched. I was not disappointed....the only downside is that these are shipped from the UK, and take around 2 weeks...worth the wait!

Un article très utile pour la fabrication de cadres, boîtes, etc.... La mise en place peux s'avérer quelque fois un peu fastidieuse pour une personne seule (suivant la configuration de votre objet si vous voulez ajuster et tenir les 4 angles en même temps cela ne va pas être simple) mais la solidité et la qualité de serrage ne sont pas en défaut. La taille admissible est relativement importante et la sangle peut être remplacée par une plus longue si la taille n'est pas suffisante. Attention toutefois à la répartition des forces lors du serrage, la sangle coulissant de moins en moins dans les Cornière au fur et à mesure du serrage, il est bon de vérifier la répartition des tensions et donc de l'equerrage.

Come da titolo ho scoperto che è molto utile . Oltretutto è ben fatto e solido, robusto. Ho letto in qualche recensione che si rompe: se si usa per quello a cui è destinato dura a lungo! Serve per tenere accostate le parti da incollare e fa il suo lavoro egragiamente. Mi ha dato grande soddisfazione al suo primo utilizzo e non posso che consigliarlo. Spedizione più che puntuale e impeccabile come sempre.
