Works great! I was surprised
Overall great carb for the money. I replaced the carb on my Tao Tao 125cc quad that I purchased used. The previous owner let the quad sit for a while and the carb was gummed up.I took out the original and was going to clean it out but there were no screws allowing it to be dismantled. I purchased the new carb and installed it.Overall quality of the new carb seemed the same as the one that came off my China quad. There were screws on the new one to allow access to the float. The new drain hose that came with it was real thin and lower quality than the original but not a big deal.Everything bolted right up, and the quad fired up right away (also after draining old gas and putting new gas in there). The carb needed slight adjusting but most do so no problems with that either. Great purchase for the price if you need a new carb on the cheap for a china quad.

Works on Coolster 110cc
I have a coolster 110cc and my throttle cable has no adjustment. The new carburetor has a short straight adjustable throttle cable mount compared to my old one with a 90 degree bend. I was unable to adjust it out far enough to make it serviceable. I simple reused my mounting piece on the new carburetor and it runs like new. A definite upgrade from the stock carburetor. The choke actually works and the bowl is able to be removed for cleaning. Two adjustment screws. Mine came perfectly adjusted out of the box.....Now the waiting game until I inevitably leave gas in it over winter and get to take 5 minutes cleaning vs 5 hours searching for a replacement and actually replacing it and then ultimately ending up here

Believe an old drag racer: this carb will make you smile!
I have drag raced for 27 year. Carbs are just simple metering devices and I was skeptical because I had already accessed my stock idle mix screw and tightened to 7/8... it was running great. The stock carb (still brand new too) had a plastic slide and a shorter, thicker needle. This carb had a metal slide and an adjustable needle with the clip in the 3rd position from top, actually a longer needle than stock but not as wide. This carb's idle mix was set at 3/4 to 7/8 turn also and I could not improve upon it. It's perfect! It did not cut out and gasp at WOT even when cold. I am impressed! My little 125cc Tao Tao was brand new, and I need to pass this along: DO NOT let your kids ride your machine until you pull the wheels and check assembly. I bought mine and immediately took it to the track for a pit bike. It runs 33mph before hitting the limiter. Thank God! I found out the wheels were not fully tight and the front hubs were a full turn from being seated. They had assembled it so that the wheel hub spun on the spindle, loose, not using the bearing but flopping around. Be careful out there and have fun!

Gets the Job Done
This carb does what it's supposed to do and they are essentially disposable items. This is a Chinese copy of a Japanese Keihin carburetor. It's hard to even find a true Keihin any more, but I have a few and they are very reliable and repairable. These Chinese copies lost something in the translation. Adjusting them can be tricky and it's not worth trying to do things like change jets and such. The good news is that if you use them for their intended purpose you can bolt them on an go.There are many Chinese companies making this carb. I have two Sheng Wey carburetors and they are a good reproduction of the Keihin design. Side-by-side the Sheng Wey carb looks identical to this, but it weighs nearly three times as much. It can be adjusted and original Keihin jets fit perfectly. They can be had for about $10 more than this carb. So if you're looking for a carb that's a little better designed, more robust and can be tweaked look for the same design and examine the weight of the carb to hopefully find a beefier version. But if you just want a bolt-on for a known application this carb will do the job.

Fit 70cc pit perfectly
I bought this carburetor from this exact listing about a year ago and it was great. Even though I ordered from the same exact listing from my order history, the carburetor which came this time was different. It's a little bigger and just different in general. The old throttle tube fit into this one though thankfully (so I didn't have to thread that back through) and bike starts first kick again. The reason I had to buy a new one is because I left gas in the carburetor over the winter and when I went to clean it the floats got damaged.Original review May 23, 2017:What can I say other than I'm absolutely amazed. I got this for my 70cc Chinese pit bike not expecting much. Actually, I was expecting it not to work or need 10,000 adjustments. I didn't know what kind of carb I needed and the brand I had was nowhere to be found. This just slipped right on, and my bike starts first kick again. I'm equally stunned and amazed to be entirely honest. Also, the bike runs with the choke all the way in. Even more amazingly, my cardboard gasket on the intake manifold is totally ripped and I didn't get a new one yet and it still works perfectly. My bike is a Baja or SSR or one of those other generics with 70cc engine. I am also using an air box instead of pod filters.

Excellent very good !!
Absolutely amazing!! Worked perfect in our Chinese kids quads came with screws to remove it and clean it.. versus the ones that came with the quad where you could not clean them.. we have a 50cc and a 125cc quad and they worked great for both!!

Worked Ok.
I didn't like the fact I had to basically rebuild it to get it working as it should work NEW out of the box.
